By alt limit I mean why can't we get more than 2 accounts on at a time on economy, even if we boosted it to 3 or 4, I understand there is some people unwilling to pay for another account, but the people that do have them extra accounts may actually have a better time on the server? I'm not making this post to complain, I love the server but it confuses me why there's a limit and of course I understand there needs to be some sort of limit so people don't have masses of accounts online at a time.
A lot of people like to bring multiple alts on to AFK them at farms or generators, and since this is economy, this happens quite often. This causes the server a lot of lag. I'm guessing that's the main reason there's a limit to how many accounts can be online at once.
ahh right, that does make sense, but now with there being crop hoppers which has clearly reduced server lag surely this could be a good time to think about maybe adding one more account?
Crophoppers have helped, however there has been so much lag already and all crophoppers do is reduce that extra added lag. Both alt limits and crop hoppers were measures taken to prevent that lag. They go hand in hand.
What mai said + I personally feel that also since this is an economy based server it wouldn't be fair if someone had access to 1000 alts that can afk all day and just /sell when some greenies only has one account if that makes sense. The economy would be more ruined and it's jus all in all super unfair :/
I think having no alt limit could create an unfair advantage because you could leave a handful of accounts on the server every day just AFK'ing for vote keys. There would be less of a need to farm for money early on
of course that's why I put the suggestion of even just 1 or 2 more accounts, but Mai definitely made it clear why it was a bad idea
