Economy Crop hoppers A.K.A croppers

    After the first day (UK time) having them on the server what is everyone's opinions, I absolutely love them, not too over powered yet not too weak they're brilliantly balanced, would love to see future upgrades on them such as more items per second, or even a slight rework in the distant future such as picking up crops that are dropped or broken (by broken an example could he a compact cactus farm), but for initial release Noobcrew and the team have done so well.

    Also, the moderating team updating people on how they work, finding issues and reporting them back has been amazing :)

    I would love to see an increase in the number of crops that can be picked up (10/second is the ultimate limit)

    I think any more and then it would break the servers economy, I think even at 10/second it should cost a fair amount probably around a mil to make it harder to achieve that level of cropper

    10/second is the limit for crops growing in a chunk with optimized layers. it's nearly impossible to get any more. Yeah

    I agree with this! Loving the base idea so far and I can't wait to see them once tweaking is finished. So glad economy got some love after awhile.

    You'll have to account for the fact that there will be intervals where your crops grow less or more than 3 new crops, and you lose out on that crop yield purely to randomization (with the current hopper of 3/second). Your profits therefore won't be a straight line when adding more sand/dirt to your farm. You'll still earn more money when adding additional sand and dirt once you've 'capped out'.

    That's a great point, however, I'm assuming that's why he's saying about increasing the items/second to 10 at maximum, at least with that you're farms will progress in gains, it also will give a reason to carry on working on farms, as if it stays at 3 items/sec then as soon as everyone reaches the cap for their farm it's going to be pointless making more farms.

    to be fair, the current cap costs 150-200mil to reach with 5x5 chunk farms, so it's understandable

    yeah, I was talking abt that a whole bunch when I was talking abt the 14/30 tier limit. (basically, its better to move to a new chunk after around 10 layers of any farm, and then move back once you have 25 chunks full already, and your benefit will start to reduce for just about every farm at around 20-30 layers depending on the farm u use)
