I kinda disagree and agree. I agree that they should make it public knowledge about the heads which have been confiscated, as I don't see any harm in doing so.
I disagree that they should reintroduce these heads as obviously higher quantity = lower price, a flood of heads being introduced at once will ruin the economy (especially if a lot of heads are introduced at once).
Maybe it's best to release the heads that have been taken, and then decide what happens.

I'd like to see what heads there are before deciding if they should be released ever, but yes that was my point about if they introduce them at once it'll destroy the prices.

 

To imagine all of the confiscated heads brought back into the economy on BOTH servers is a dream to me.
so many people want to collect some of these rare items but the IRL traders dont understand that passion, and then they go and get them confiscated making it harder for new collectors to COLLECT.

using the discord bot to randomly select winners sounds like a good idea as it is a bot that randomly selects winners, but it would be difficult to give out the prizes as some of the discord members vote and forget.

then there would be the system of asking a member of staff to collect entries via the server the item is present in (pick a random confiscated head on sb or economy, like a hatchling or something) ask for votes on who would like to attempt to win it, then spin a wheel using Wheel of Names . then the staff member can fairly distribute it on the server the head belongs in. (this is just a practical idea with staff control so the item enters the field again safely)

Of course I would love to see this suggestion implemented, as I want to see more people happy with heads they want to own. support from your local economy clown

(there will be counter arguments to this as people don't want rare and expensive heads brought back when they own them as they lose money, but I'm talking at a community collection standpoint than my own personal profit, so Id rather collectors be happy than me.)

 

i dont think it would destroy prices it would lower them temporarily i feel like the draw back of this plan is for people like u and i with established colections which would go down slightly. But as its better for the server as a whole im recomending it

honestly i really like the idea. i think it would be nice to bring those items back into the economy instead of letting the prices of these heads rise extremely high. regardless of people irl trading or not, the heads/items themselves are legit and i think it would be awesome to redistribute them and let players have an equal chance to get their hands on them.

like everyone said, there most likely won't be a separate drop party just for this so i think using the giveaway discord bot would be sufficient.

Why introduce items itnop the economy for a select few of users who are banned?
We dont distribuite there islands wealth or grass at dp so heads arent so useful but to collectors. Maybe a shope item to help the server and community if possible? Again, banned players, why should we care?

 

right ya but as the irl traders would not be partisipating so as a comunity we might want them to irl trade but more people would report them for the extra drops

 

I can agree on reporting more, just the glorification of it seems a bit much, but I am new, so if that is a thing, I can't disagree on the why, and a dp would make sense. Getting more new people on to understand the reason wouldn't hurt either.

 

There are no taxes for lottery winners in the UK. And confiscated weapons are destroyed and money is split between the government and the police (50/50).
