So I can't remember the date but I had met a player named Marisoul. This Player lead me to another player called Arcadea. They were building a Chinese inspired island and there were some ways that I could help. I donated some items and they did /trust. They immediately wanted me to help them build walls and floors so I quickly drained my inventory into a shulker or two over the course of a day or two while I helped build. These two then proceeded to block me on discord and that's when I figured they were done with me. So I logged in and took my inventory back leaving the stone and cobble I had in my current inventory. The following day or two I was asked by Marisoul what happened to their stuff, which I told them I didn't take THEIR stuff. Which I was not wrong. I was then met by FranFiction who said I needed to return the items but when I was trying to explain they were my items that I stored and never gave to the two, he told me he needed to go and that I was to put the items in a chest on my island and I was to be let off with a warning, and then he logged. I unhappily put the items in a chest on my island and waited, not one, not two, not three days, but two weeks. I had then in that time seen Fran online as well as other mods and not a soul came for the items, or contacted me. I also put two books in the chest explaining my side of the story, Which I still own. How was I suppose to know whether or not that the items were seen, the books were read and the issue was dropped?

Today I was AFK at my mob spawner for a few hours and I come back to a Ban. I'd say waiting over two weeks, then take action is like beating a dead dog. I've been a manger of a couple of stores, and where as they are not Minecraft Servers, there is one thing I have learned and that's to never take action on hear/say without hearing both sides of the story.

    • Punished account name: Aviator022497
    • Platform or server punished on: PC, Skyblock-Survival
    • Ban message if applicable: Banned on: 2020-12-24 even though it happened at at least 7pm est on the 23rd. Banned by: franfiction. Reason: Looting
    • Have you read the rules? I have and I personally didn't see anywhere in the rules where its illegal to take back your own items that you stored on someone else island.
    • Do you think this punishment was incorrect? I do because where as I had stated that they were my items that I stored, I also think that immediately taking someone's side without hearing the rest of the story is wrong as well as waiting over 2 weeks to finally take action out of nowhere with no warning.
    • Why should you be unbanned? I think I should be unbanned because if we punish people just because someone Pointed a finger and said "he took my stuff". Without any investigating, any proof, and the person in question denies it all and tries to defend himself but gets a stiff hand to the face and told to do what the Mod said. Then I think We should start handing out bans left and right and that that is an exploit in the system.
    • Please list any other times you were punished on Skyblock: This is my only Punishment besides back in February 21st, of 2016 where the console was acting up and banned over 200 people.
    • If you know, tag the staff member that banned you: fran Sorry idk how to tag people.
    • Do you understand and accept our rules and code of conduct? Yes I Do

Okay, I talked to you in-game but I'll give you another chance to give your side of the story before we go on with the appeal

Ok. I left my stuff in chests as I was helping them build on their island. My stuff was dispersed into their chests after they blocked me on discord. The stuff they took was never "given" to them, It was inventory I stored while my inventory was full of stone and other building material. I took my stuff back that they insured was safe in my chests. Yes we did talk in game and I left My items in a chest because I did not want to start any kind of altercation. But the items remained in that chest along with 2 books describing what had happened. After two weeks how was I suppose to know whether or not the items were seen, the books were read, and the issue was dropped? The holidays are difficult for me and I do apologize for continuing the ban appeal into discord. A well as ruining the mood for anyone who was affected by my issue.

I understand the struggle of helping someone who chooses to be rude (or even block you in this case) afterwards. Unfortunately, this does not give us the right to take our stuff back.

Also, the players claim that you took more grass than you had given them in the first place.

No. That’s the thing. I had laid chests to store my inventory. I gave them items yes but I also stored my own items. I never took anything I donated, I took what belonged to me that they took out of my chests and dispersed into their chests. I took back what they took from me. I never took anything that belonged to them or anything I donated. Only reason I left valuables in a chest unlocked is because I had these people on discord and Snapchat and felt safe enough to do so while I helped them. I left the unimportant stuff such as building material but took back my valuables.
