I joined a coop island a while back, and would like to start my own island as I no clue what to do with the island I am a part of on the survival skyblock server. The original owner hasn't been online in a long while and I don't know when he/she will return. I really like to start a new island on my own, as I don't feel that I am active enough to do joint island ventures at this time. Plus I like to gain some knowledge on my own, to better my skills. Any advice or any possibly way to add a feature for joint players to leave islands on their own accord? I just like the other person to carry on with his island if possible as managing this joint island on my own is rather difficult and I am not the owner of it.
You are able to leave the island, even if you are the leader, he will be automatically make the leader when you leave. To leave just do /coop leave or to dedicate an owner if you have more than one person in your coop /changeleader <user>. The island should be safe and you should then be able to make a new island!
