Hello! I have been playing a lot of classic recently and one of the best features is how unique the rare items are. Particularly items such as soap and super hot potatoes. Why isn't there anything like that on /skyblock? The only real "rares" on new sb are heads and dragon eggs, etc, which are already on classic. Since everything else (Leggy keys, elytra etc) can be bought from the store, why cant we have a couple more little fun items like the existent ones on classic? It'd take a little planning to release fairly out in the economy; but drop parties are possibly the best way. Below I will explain why this would be a nice little addition to the server, and also explain some negative points towards this suggestion and explain them. The best items to be re-released in this case is soap and super hot potatoes, 2 very fun and quirky items that had value. Economy. By this I mean the servers economy with trading, not the server. Some may think this will harm the economy. While this may be partially true, this suggestion is no different from the drop party heads. Think, do they harm the economy? Not really. While, the prices may go up and down, there is no notable incidents that there has been any new items released by skyblock that have left damage on the rare trading business, apart from the first few hours after items are released. Another point may be that richer players will try to "collect" these items if they are released with different lores. One of the reasons people liked items like soap on classic were how random and fun they were, and there was only one type. Also, there was no worry of placing it to lose value. Aside from heads, placing lores on items such as these I'm suggesting would possibly be a bad idea, since one positive of this item I'm suggesting is it would hopefully give a nice item for the less rich players to hang up on an item frame, without tons of rich players asking to buy it to complete there collection of every lore and year. Availability One hard part about making this suggestion work is the availability. How will they be fairly given out? The answer from most players, would be drop parties. But, how many would be given out? If a decent amount are given out, to make em a decent rarity but not worth thousands of diamonds, then there would need to be around 100 to make a fair amount. But, this would harm the drop party in itself, making it take over from the main feature (heads!). The problem is, they'd have to be all given out at once, because the price will drastically change, and that seriously can damage the economy for the item. For example, if 5 are given out at a drop party, then they will be seriously rare items. However, if another 95 are given out a few weeks later, this will cause complications. It would probably take a separate drop party for these to be released well. Ability to /buy. So, I understand it's important to make money, but this item wouldn't really fit into /buy. These items wouldn't really work there. The while point of these items I'm suggesting is a fun addition to he server that's a rare, with only one type and not available from crates. /buy would kind of spoil the item's value and point overall, just like legendary crates. tl;dr- Soap and Super hot potatoes should be re-added into skyblock. No support I believe those items should stay on classic Adding them just wouldn’t be good idea for skyblock It could be bad for the economy and just wouldn’t fit in as you know soap isn’t really appropriate
Fair enough! Your statement with it wouldn't fit in though, one of the points of it would be it is a fun little addition. Nothing is really "appropriate" by any means, just somethings are more "sensible" then others. Thanks so much for the feedback though!
No Support, Super Rare Potatos or Soap were given to staff members as a gift. We could have Super Rare Potato as a custom crafting recipe.
If that's the case then they shouldn't be given to all players, just staff members. Different rares probably and not the same potatoes and soap. Although adding more rares atm doesn't seem very necessary because there are always crafting recipes and drop parties that give away rares neutral
Back in classic this made everything a lot more fun with there being more rares to buy and spend your money on and they were fun to collect them all * insert pokemon intro here* this would add a unique twinge to everything Edit: Full support

Honestly support, I sort of find it boring how there are only a few types of rares the main part being heads. I would love to see more types of rares inside skyblock. However I think it would be better if skyblock made its own custom rares.
