Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out this forum post. The topic I wanted to bring up to you, is the newly founded, CFA. You may have some questions, and there'll be answers. 1. What is the CFA? The CFA is the Cult of Father Alvin. It is a fictitious Minecraft cult based around, you guessed it, Alvin the Chipmunk. The CFA is a non-aggressive monotheistic religion that believes in the equality of its followers (Non-socialistically). The Cult of Father Alvin raises money through selling and distributing Map Art, which shall depict friendly images of Father Alvin and never any sort of violence or disturbing imagery. 2. What is the purpose of selling Map Art? The distribution of Map Art across the server is to spread the message and identity of the community. Most of the time, map art will sell for no more than 5-10 grass per map. We are not trying to make money off of these, but we somehow have to pay for the creation of these maps. 3. Where does all the money invested into Father Alvin go? All of the grass, whether from donations or map art, goes directly back into the cult. This may include but is not limited to; building materials for religious infrastructure, commission to map art builders, ores for the creation of map art, and more. 4. How much does it cost to be part of the CFA? Nothing. The CFA is a non-profit cult, and therefore no admission fee or membership fee exists. All donations or purchases are 100% voluntary, and cult officials do not accept bribes. There is though, an application process that I will go over in a later bullet point. 5. What are my responsibilities as a CFA member? As a CFA member, your responsibilities vary across how dedicated to the cult you are. As later described, every member will have a mandatory monthly oath renewal, which is the most basic necessity for cult members. Members are expected to spread the word of the Cult and invite new members to the cult, in a passive way. Members who are caught charging joining-fees or bribes will suffer forfeiture of earnings and permanent exile from the cult. 6. How do I apply for the cult? To apply for the cult, please send a mail to the user, 'redstoen', with ALL of the following questions answered. 6.1. Why do you want to be part of the cult? 6.2. What will you do to help the cult thrive? 6.3. How will you serve Father Alvin on the server and help his Cause? 6.4. How long do you plan to stay with the cult for? 6.5 How active on the server are you? Please do not stress too much over these questions. It may look intimidating, but simple answers work just as well as any. All that matters is that you are honest and that they are submitted correctly to me. As a cult member, there is no official initiation (subject to change), but there is a monthly oath renewal that is mandatory and dates will be pre-determined. 7. What if I can't attend a renewal at the given date or I miss it/something comes up? Don't worry. Oath renewal can be moved over a day or two if required. Father Alvin works to help all his subjects thrive in their daily lives. 8. Is there any other information I need to know? Just remember to read over the forum post if ever conflicted about any rules. Remember, all donations and purchases are welcomed and fund the development of the cult directly.
