I mean I get it closed but since when and why? And does anyone have any idea on when it will be back up again?

It was removed because a player found a way to duplicate armor and weapons from it. It was closed to fix the bug but the developers are changing much more of it. Nobody knows when it will be back as of now.

I believe they are upgrading the mob arena as mob arena was pretty broken and 1.16 is also very broken. They have said they are improving the arena in lots of ways (unspecified). However, if I had to estimate I would say mob arena would be back in 1-6 months. I could be wrong, but this is my estimate.

But yes. Someone found a duplication glitch and they had to close it. They have fixed it by now(according to one of the mods[I think]), but they are improving the mob arena and fixing other glitches such as broken health.

You can learn more by asking Kerahana when she is hosting a mob arena session(Randomly. And don't ask her too much.)
