Inactive lost 5 spawners to...

Hello, I have lost 5 spawners, and after loosing 4 with my usual method of picking up spawners, i decided to record me trying to pick up my 5th, recording is below, the pick i used was silk, there was no clag, it did not fall in void, I reloged it was not in my inv. according to /buy this is like loosing 18.75$ worth of things to a glitch which is less than optimal, I was wondering if there is anything that could be done about this.

It looked like you picked it up but idk

 

Maybe WatzWatz had one already in his inventory however if you watch his hotbar it doesn’t show

I have known spawners to jump. Not sure if this is the case however due it being on a small size platform there is a possibility it may have gone straight into the void. Although, I didn't see it fall, might be server related lag at the time? Was there silk touch on the pickaxe?
