One word of advice I'd like to give, is that the pain of losing a loved one will never truly go away. It may get better at times, but there will always be moments where you cry. One of my favorite quotes from Dr. Seuss if this; "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." And that's completely true. Though you may be sad at times, if you remember the fun you had, it'll be ok. I've also been bullied. Send me a pm if you have anything you need to talk about. One word of advice I'd like to give, is that although it may feel like they have all the power in your life, it's not true. They mostly want attention, and if you ignore them they'll eventually stop. Also, I’m very sorry to hear about your grandmother- my dads sister passed away from cancer in 2018- it’s great that you can talk about it and support others.

At first, I tried to distance myself from her. I couldn't do it. I decided to just be with her. My family came from all across the country (I live in the US, and have almost 40 cousins. Haha) I spent time with my grandma and my cousins. As sad of a reason as it was, it brought family to town, and I got to know cousins that I hadn't known that well before. Family was so very important to her. She forgot where she was in the last week of her life, but she never forgot her family. I wasn't there when she passed away. I had said goodbye the night before. Her last meal was my father's homemade sourdough bread (we still have the start that made that loaf. We've kept it alive for three years. Not a Small task.) And his brother's homemade cheese. It feels good to talk about this. Thank you for asking.
