I have F2 of course, but I also have OBS Screen recorder, XBOX live interface which I can also use to record and take screenshots. Why do you think you should become a staff member? I would like to be a staff member to help keep the server great. Sometimes, some bots come on and spam advertise, and it takes a second for someone to go ping a mod to tell them to come help. I would like to be there, when it happens, to help stop bad deeds from the beginning. I would like to keep the server away from bad, harmful, or degrading language. I believe there are many reasons why I should become a staff member! Helpful: I am helpful! I know the server well, and I can help a player do what they need, e.g. build a cobble generator, explain a command, or whatever they need! And, in the scenario that there is something that I am unable to complete, I can hop onto discord and ping someone who can! Happy: I am happy. I love to be happy, and I smile all the time. I like to reflect that on the server, and stay happy! Making me mad isn’t that easy, and if people say mean things about me, I don’t take it harshly. Active: I am very active compared to most people on the server. My playtime has skyrocketed recently, and should be able to stay that way for quite a while. Sensible: I know when to tease, and I know when to stop. I like to play around, and I know when a joke should stop. Sometimes in chat someone is being teased a little to far, and people aren’t picking up on that, but I can help make sure nobody gets their feelings hurt. Loyal: I love this server. It’s the best! The community is amazing, and the gameplay makes it even better. I do not want to leave the server, and I don’t plan on doing so. Trustworthy: I don’t abuse privileges. If I received a staff status, I wouldn’t the permissions. I might ban myself once, but I will NEVER use my permissions in a way that is harmful, or degrades the server in any way. Trust is something that can be lost in a day, but earned in years. I understand that the staff permissions are powerful, and I understand that abusing them is not okay. Prepared: I am prepared for things to go wrong on the server. It is inevitable. And when that happens, I am prepared to to stop it, fix it, and ensure it doesn’t happen again. I won’t let things catch me off guard. Experienced: As stated in the moderation experience section, I have much experience with moderation and servers in general. I can use the commands well, and I understand how they work. I am also very technologically-apt, and I understand how to do many things with computers. I can help players with their connectivity, and explain to them why it is what it is. I am familiar with the windows command prompt, and commands used to help debug things. I can help players understand why their WiFi is worse than their Mobile Hotspot, and I can help them with issues in that context. Friendly: I am very friendly and approachable. If someone needs to contact me, they can do so in a safe manner, and they won’t be scared to contact me. I am an extrovert, so I love to talk and be around people! Mature: While I am only 14, I don’t act my age. I understand when to be serious and when to be funny, and I believe this maturity will be helpful when enforcing the rules. People can’t convince me to let them do something bad. I am mature, and I will not let those things get to me. Quick Typer: I type at 80+ words per minute. While many of you have noticed that sometimes there are mistakes, I can also type perfectly and mistake-less at 60 words per minute, which means I can reply when people need urgent help, and get the job done fast. Generous: Lets just say there is a reason why I have no grass xD! I like to help people. Unless they won’t accept it. But still, I find crafty ways to sneak it into their inventory. It is actually kinda fun! And much more. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I am normally online, like, a LOT, like normally 12 hours, although much of this is AFK. If I am needed, I can easily pop back on and do whatever I am needed to do. I normally play everyday, and I should be able to keep this large amount of activity for the forseable future. How long have you been playing Skyblock? About 10 months on my current account, but I had first heard about and joined a bit earlier. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Nope! And I fully intend to keep it that way. If I become helper or mod, I will ban myself though. Just to say I’ve done it Do you have any previous moderation experience? Yep! I used to own my own server, and I was in charge of moderating every aspect of it, like the gameplay, the chat, and whatever else needed moderation. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes, indeed! 50 Post Count - I well surpass that! 2F Auth - I have that enabled, and I will use that to ensure nobody can take access of my account except for me. 2 Weeks on Forums - Its been longer than that! Im glad you think I should! Although, this is something I want to wait to do. After all, my application needs to be perfect, and there is no other way to make that happen other than let the community help!
Honestly, people go off your personality and activity in game more than they do your application to determine whether you would be a good staff member or not.
Just make an app, then go by what people in the comments where they will all be constructive and may help you improve on things. btw theres no color but this is just a draft copy right?
I actually prefer applications which have no colour. Maybe a nice shade of blue for the subtitles but I think nothing more. It looks a lot cleaner in just black.
Since you asked for criticism, I took a really close look at some parts: This part seems to be a bit clumsy to me. You use the phrase "I want" too often and it sounds very demanding. I would prefer if you used phrases like "I'd like" or "I wish". It makes you come across as a demanding and arrogant person (not saying that you are that kind of a person). Additonally it seems like you are only relating to chat related offenses. privilege don't mention it delete that no don't plug your shop on your app it's very unprofessional avoid personal comments, it's unprofessional Clumsy, didn't convince me that you have experience. Generally I personally would prefer if you had a simple color scheme and another font. Things I liked about this application: I liked that you didn't lose your personality. I feel like you didn't lie very much like most people do on their application. You came across as a happy, cheerful active person which I liked. Most of the applications these days are very monotonous and lack personality but yours didn't and I enjoyed that. That's it :--)
