Hello there,
I have bugged light inside of my mobgrinder.
I use only flull blocks of cobblestone, no slabs, no stairs.
But half of my mobgrinder is still light inside
Below is ss form inside of grinder, somone knows why it happen?
Some players try to help me but noone knows why the light is inside of grinder.
Pleas somone help me.
(I change setting to allow mobspawning)

 

I believe it is a server issue. Try double layering it. Sometimes using slabs lets light through, otherwise, it is just the server not loading correctly and thinking the blocks aren't there to reduce lag. Light can also be let through corners. Have you tried turning on fancy lighting? Sometimes that helps with light render issues.

 

The server doesn't block any type of solid blocks...

try breaking said bugged block and replacing it. I feel like the issue is that you were placing blocks too fast, and when the server lagged, a block that might be there on your screen isn't actually there on the server. You can check this by right clicking pretty much every block there with a tool, and one will eventually disappear, at least I think

 

If you used schematica or another client to build this, then the following will happen:

Usually I have light not loading properly in chunks and I find that if you just place a block in that weirdly lit chunk and then break it immediately it then converts to the normal ambient light that you want. This happens to me both when it is dark in the room and there's a patch of light, or the other way round when it's light and there's a dark patch. Let me know if it fixes, or perhaps the fact that you have logged off by now and logged back in may help resolve the issue.

 

I try to log out and log in, it doesn't help.
Then i tried to place block inside of grinder and fast destroy but it's still doesn't help. So i clicking all block holding the tool and still nothing so i replaced all roof and light still not disapeared.
(And i dont use any schematic or other client, i play on orginal minecraft client)

 

Try like placing a block that can be affected by gravity like sand all around the area and break it. Tell me what if it works

 

Have you tried placing torches in that area, and then removing them?

Heya, so I broke the roof of your mob spawner and rebuilt it and it seems to have solved your light issues, mobs now spawn correctly and it is dark in every corner. I'm not exactly sure what the root of the problem was, however it is now fixed for you on the economy server. Let me know what you think before I resolve this help thread!
