I voted today, but i forgot i had to be logged in and i wasn't, so does that mean i lost that grass block for today?

 

While there is actually a new voting system, although yes, you do need to be logged in; now when you vote you can be "lucky" or "super lucky" and win prizes such as 5 extra grass, a diamond, or even a spawner (from what it says ). I don't think you get grass blocks for every vote now.

 

I think it only gives you a grass block if you have voted on one of the "supported" websites for voting for skyblock.

Not really, you have to get lucky. For example: yesterday I voted a total of 4-5 times (many sites, each counted though because on minecraft it said Thanks for voting!), I got lucky and received 1 redstone block for one of the votes, another I received the standard one grass block, and the rest nothing at all.

 

they need to add /redeem I forgot to be logged on today
