It would be fun to create a mob arena in daylight, but those mobs usually just sit there when spawned by a monster spawner. I want the ability to stop mob stacking because it would greatly help egg farming. I understand there is a lag issue, but you can make it so if there are many mobs(10+) in an area they get stacked to prevent lag.

 

Just wait for the mob arena to come back. Best part about it is you can play it during the day!! And win REWARDS!!!! No matter what limit you put in mob stacking it will lag the server entirely the amount of entities on the server will just lag a ton

Yeah, I know, its just I don't know when the mob arena will come back.(also a suggestion:Increase Player limit[so more players can play] but also increase difficulty)

 

Currently there is no ETA on mob arena, although hopefully it will appear soon. RedstoneTrails might have some idea when it will be back.

 

No support. Mob stacking was added for a reason, to prevent the lag. But adding what you are suggesting will make the lag worse. Mob arena will be added soon hopefully so just have patience for now.

 

As others have said above, the reason the mobs stack and have no AI is purely for lag reasons. There’s a reason it’s been removed, and kept removed - clearly it works.

During this time when there are more people online due to global events, the last thing that is needed is opening up more potential for lag.

I see your frustration, but hopefully Mob Arena will be added back soon. For now we’ll just have to be patient.

 

I just wanted this for egg farming, so its easier to farm eggs

 

Unfortunately, the staff team can’t accept a suggestion just to benefit one person or for their needs, it has to be something that would improve the server quality for everyone.

 

A lot of people buy eggs to egg grief, and it sort of ruins the effect when the chickens stack. That helps everyone, sort of. This and making food like cakes are the main purpose of eggs. If you can't accept this for some reason, please allow eggs to stack up to 64, it would also help egg farming.
