Hey everyone. Today has been crazy. It was filled with a LOT of ups and downs for me but- I would like to ask for help while also educating you guys about a MAJOR issue that cannot be resolved. Today about 20 mins before dp, my coop partner and I were placing our grass shulkers to see if we had enough grass to upgrade my friend. As we counted, the server got more and more lag because at this point there was about 200/125 players. (Around There) But, as it got worse and worse, the server had its big crash. After many minutes we got back on and went to collect our shulkers and they were not where they were placed. Then I realized that when im building and I crash the last like 30s of building is reset and the items un-place and go into my inventory. My shulker was held in my e-chest so I look there and no shulker. My friend also lost his 2 shulkers and about 5 stacks. We got mods to check it out and there were logs of placed shulkers but there is not logs of their contents and there is no logs of echests so there was nothing to refund and nothing to prove. Please don't do anything with your valuables during a very laggy time on the server. Or you may end up like me. I don't think I have a coop member either anymore because they lost the motivation to play due to this. I’m so sorry for you! Hopefully a mod will be able to help. I am poor, but if the mods aren’t able to refund you the grass, then I will certainly donate at least a half stack of grass. I hope you are able to get it back!
Ill come and donate 5 stacks of grass next time I see you It sucks that a laggy server forces moderators to help out only to realize they can't do anything which wastes their time which could've been prevented. I hope you can get all your grass back. If you need items I have a variety of times I often store in my chests if you do need them.
That's really unfortunate - and its happened to me with considerably less rarer items. On classic, I had an untextured block (it might've been a slimeball?) and when the server was about to restart I typed /hat instead of /hub out of habit - the slimeball got deleted.
Sorry to hear that. Next time I’m online, I’ll donate a couple of spawners which you could sell to make up for some of it. Leeeroieee might be able to help with this. You could start a conversation with him here’s on forums, or on discord.
sadly, since there is no proof that they contained grass and there are no logs of echests so they cannot refund any of it Thanks that would be really nice of you, sadly the cannot retrieve any lost item because their is "no proof" of the contents of the shulkers That is really sweet thanks. I dont think they can do anything. Boss was talking to Lee about it yesterday and said that if there is no proof of the contents then nothing can be replaced. dang, that sucks. Yeah I just hope people see this because this apparently happened to a lot of people yesterday :/ edited: merged posts into one
