Placed Guardian Spawner and broke. it stayed guardian spawner but when placed again it cahnged to pig spawner. the purple line that it had as a guardian spawner is still there if it works as proof. is it possible to get guardian egg back or no? in-game name is GuardianGaia

 

Yeah you should've asked one of the managers to move it for you or else it'll turn into a pig spawner when you break it and place it next time. Tagging Kerahna since she might help with this issue.

 

top is prev guardian spawner. as far as i know, the only time i ever had purple line like that was when i used the guardian spawner. its in my orange shulker box at /visit rice_gum if you want to check. theres 2 orange boxes and its the one further in. i still have it.

 

unfortunately not. only found out about how guardian spawners worked after i picked i replaced it and it turned into a pig spawner.

 

To add to this discussion, can I ask what can be done with a placed spawner?
Can it be converted to a guardian egg or only be moved by managers?

 

I'm pretty sure it can only be moved by managers. They won't swap items out for you.

 

if i may be so bold. this mechanic is pretty stupid lol. theres no warning or msg that you'll lose it if you break it. I'll take the loss although pricewise i lost $50 irl that i paid someone in grass to get this. but please make it unbreakable then or put a warning on the desciption of item when u hold it.

 

btw. you said that purple line wasnt unique to guardian spawners. just to note, what other spawners has it

 

completely agree.

if you know that you can't trace guardian spawners with logblock why hasnt there been some sort of system added to warn players that they will lose the guardian spawner if broken? not everyone knows about this issue - seems a little irresponsible as guardian spawners are very valuable on the server.

 

^. precisely. for example like i just said. i basically just wasted $50 just because the server failed to 1. give warning to people who have the spawner in their possesion, and 2. theres no way to check if i really had it once you find out about how it works. in which case, tbh either situation makes it the server's failure. So basically we're taking the blow for the server's failings. if it was in real life that'd b a lawsuit lol. but since its a game. w/e. ill just take the loss(even if i did in fact use real money to purchase it from someone by paying them in legendary keys from the /shop)

Not really possible. Logs only show spawners- they do not specify what kind of spawner it is.

 

irl trading is illegal, unless you bought skyblock gift cards
