everybody knows what clag is for: prevent items from creating lag there is already a blacklist for items that dont get deleted, mainly being shulker boxes and grass (i think) my suggestion is adding more items to it: elytras all sort of keys these items are very unlikely to lay around in huge quantities and wont create that much lagg. its very annoying to lose them to clag (had this whilst trading with a greynie who dropped 22 voter keys right into clag, probably the most value he had at his island at that time), especially for elytras.
I don’t feel like people should be dropping valuables on the floor anyway. It increases risk of scams without evidence. I think there’s enough blacklisted already. Neutral
I would say we need to find the median between just plain vanilla error and a reasonable blacklist I'm on a somewhat support
What happens if you accidentally drop them? I mean, I accidentally press “Q” on items I don’t want to drop. I understand that there’s really no one to blame but us, but since there are already some items blacklisted, why not blacklist other valuables too? Support.
it is annoying when you lose values but you learn from it, maybe just use chests or put the items in shulker boxes when not using black listing is a help either way works
One thing I've always done with minecraft in survival mode is unbind the q key, and set some other key far away to be the "drop" button. It's saved me many times!
But in a survival game you can still pick your stuff up. Not like it's being done on purpose. Mistakes hapen.
The server cannot be responsible for players dropping items on the ground. Accidents happen but they can be avoided too. Like kera said, changing the key so you don’t press it easily and making sure you shift click things into chests will help, as much as not keeping valuables in your hot bar or inventory unless really necessary. I have never lost a valuable item to clear lag in 6 years. Just take care of your items well.
hes right, in normal minecraft u get 5 minutes to pick ur items up and not only 10ms when u drop them right before clag
I think this would be a great idea. Three lines of code for the dev team (more if you count the lines importing the clagg api), and then hundreds of hours of work are saved for the players with that added layer of protection.
