So, my island is locked to stop anyone porting in, my spawn in area is all blocked off with a door so only those with trust access can actually get anywhere near it (Me and my alts only) On my little spawn in area I have a shop sign set up for pweedle for 100000 to make it easier to transfer cash from it. I've just checked pweedles balance and it has only 4k on it which means someone else has been using this sign. Now I realise that the signs are public and I should have set it up in a more secure manor but tbh I presumed since it was in a totally closed off area that could only be accessed by myself or my alts then it would be safe. Can a member of staff check the logs to see who sold items to Pweedle in the last 24 hours because it should only be my main (Maskaler) and anyone else who sold items to him is clearly hacking to get through the walls or floor of my island. Only person I had guested that wasn't one of my alts was Asivator and he hasn't been on in forever but thanks for the idea
Yea, well over 2 days since he was last online, whoever was using my sign must have done it within the previous hour or 2 based on how much cash my alt had on him
A player could have just flown to your island if they knew the coords, are a neighbour/live close by to your island or just happened to be flying past.
I agree but that doesn't mean they'd be able to get to this specific area since its totally blocked off and only way to get there is glitching through blocks
Yeah, there are a few hacks I know which can easily let you glitch through blocks. As soon as Lee sees this and is able to check who interacted with the tradeshop, I believe this will be fixed
I've now changed the sign shop so it only accepts specific written books so people can't take advantage of it again but its still the principle that it was obviously a no-go area and someone used glitches to abuse it
If you are transferring cash how would you lose cash. If you have it set up so the alt buys a stick (for example) for a ridiculously high price then technically you wouldn't lose. No one can take advantage of a sign that asks them to pay money. Edit: This is how I safely transferred money from alts to main. All money goes to my main and people who want to abuse this will only be giving me money. You can set up many chests like this for back and forth transfers of money without requiring you selling items to get money
Maybe it was the other way around. Maybe the tradeshop was set up to let players sell <item> for <amount of money>, meaning players could take their cobblestone, for example, and sell it to that chest for money. It's not the most efficient method, though
Yea it was set up to sell an item from my main to an alt. Its now set up so the sign shop only accepts a specific written book instead to stop people abusing it
It wasnt me. I'm also having the same problem. Random alts are afking in my closed off grinders. Very frustrating cause im losing my profits
I’m not sure if you guys have this on economy, but you can /lock or if you wanna go the extra mile, /member ban or something (havent used the command in ages, cant remember it)
