Are redstone casino's (the ones like Adrian builds [/visit adriansop]) actually worth it?
I hear they cost around a DC of grass but how much grass do they make?

 

With a casino in a position like adrians, adrians has got such a good reputation that it is hard to get many visitors unless you have a really good prize like a santa head. You can make about a dc in a month if you have great prizes

Yeah, in the end they would be.

 

This cannot be answered reasonably, as you must first say at which point it is "worth it". Do you want to cover the casino expenses and then make a small profit? Make atleast 200 grass per week?

If you solely want to make grass the casino will almost certainly be "worth it" in most cases due to the low setup cost (excluding prizes, those vary)

 

Also Casino's only cost you a DC if you buy them from someone, make your own it will cost you a lot less.

Well yes, use schematica, also from what i've seen, most* (dont b**** at me if yours isn't) casinos are stolen from the internet anyway so not original designs. Even if people claim they are.

 

But... the difficulty with schematica is that it doesnt show you what people have loaded inside things, like chests, hoppers, droppers etc which is often vital to the working mechanics

 

Yup thats the exact reason why I havent bothered with it

 

Doesn't work with casinos, the filter system is nearly the hardest part of it all and it doesnt show for schematic users

 

Ok so I probably would make profit from it. My idea was just to make a small profit after expenses.
