I'm going to post some suggestions here that should hopefully be unanimous but if you feel any of these suggestions would negatively impact the server in any way feel free to conversate with me below : )

#1: Colored Nicknames for Highrollers and Elites

This has been a feature present on economy since 2013.


An Overlord (Now Highroller) and Highroller (Now Elite) show off their colored nicknames and have a fun time in October, 2014.


Goden and Survivors05 have a "friendly" chat in 2015

Reiterating my point here, this feature has been on economy since the beginning, and was removed when Economy started up again for no apparent reason. Right now, all the players tags are Yellow or Magenta. It is so incredibly dull. Colored nicknames give the player character. It gives the server character. It was never an issue before and I just cannot see why it should be an issue now.


#2: Adding the command /pay. Again, this command has been on economy since the start. Economy is a money based server. MONEY. CASH. Imagine not being able to pay someone with cash or a credit card at a real shop? What are you going to do? Well, in economy, you're going to have to list an item (usually of worthlessness) on the auction house and the player who is paying you has to buy it. A real pain in the bum. Why was /pay removed? Who knows.

A cool feature back in 2014 was that you could /pay all (amount) and it would send a nice gift to everyone online at the time.

To contradict your statement, multiple suggestions that were eventually introduced were suggested earlier;an example being my suggestion from 2016 about /marry.

As in response to the ORG colored names, full support. There is no reason that this isn't needed. There is a few reasons this'd be a positive addition to the neglected org server; main one being to brighten chat up. Colored names could possibly encourage chat in the server; or maybe sales to the server.

As I've said, full support.

 

I don’t have any to give you why I no supported it. It’s a rating because I don’t need to create a whole post about why I don’t support these. If you want to see my full opinions on it go find the other same suggestions where I gave my whole reasoning

 

The no support rating from you is just a rating. You not describing why isn't assisting anybody in the community, and not helping the suggestor. This means your rating was partially useless.

 

If it was useless it wouldn’t be available maybe try suggesting removing it??

 

I said partially. 90% of the time ratings are accompanied by an explanation to help the suggestor and other users understand the raters reasoning for the rating; and to help contribute to the suggestion.

 

I understand you are not obliged to give reasoning behind your rating, however I asked for your opinion on the topic as I was curious to see why you thought that way. I'm really sorry that I didn't go through the threads and find your old post where you voiced your opinion of the matter instead of asking you to reiterate yourself. I said at the top of the suggestion if you felt that any of these suggestions negatively impacted the server in any way if you could please converse with me below.

I did my research on what you think of having colored nickname support for economy, and I'm still as baffled as I was then. You talk about Colored Nicknames "defeating the purpose of ranks on economy", however I still fail to see how colored nicknames defeat the purpose of anything, as they are just a fun perk we hold dearest and would love to be added to the sever. Maybe if you could please elaborate in more detail how colored nicknames defeat the purpose of ranking on economy? Perhaps you just are misinformed about the server.

 

Ah. Have they? I was vaguely aware these suggestions had been made before but could not find any of them/all of them were invalid or had layers of dust on them. I wanted to re-work these suggestions that many of the economy players talk about constantly in the server chat and provide my own pov on why these should be added.

100% support for both features. /pay is essential for an economy server and colored nicks wouldn't hurt.

 

I’m not convinced suggestions like this are allowed due to it being under the category of ‘donor perk suggestions’.

Anyway, I do like the idea of this is some ways and understand that the chat on economy could do with some more colour. I also understand that on the old .org server this was a feature of which worked rather well.

On the other hand, I think that in some ways it is unfair due to .net players having to pay $250 for this perk, compared to the much smaller $50 economy players would have to pay for elite, or the $100 price for highroller.

I’m going to conclude this by suggesting that a new overlord rank were to be implemented which would be $250 to prevent the controversy from the .net players. I will be rating this post with neutral.

 

Hm /pay all? Wouldn't people get confused why they got money from? (and may cause spam?)

And It would be kinda nice a colored prefix plugin would exist for Highrollers, but not Elites.

 

Coloured nicks would be too OP for Elites, highrollers - fine. /pay's on Mineverse skyblock so I don't see why you couldn't get it here.

 

Support for /pay, this was removed due to a bug with it when economy was first launched. I believe they did fix it, but it hasn’t been re-implemented yet.

Where coloured names are concerned, I’m neutral. Yes - it might be nice, but there must be a reason they chose not to implement coloured names if they had them before.
