Your in-game name: brangorm (My forum name used to be "treepuncher101." I figured it wouldn't be a very well-sounding mod username if I were to be chosen, so I changed it to my IGN.)

How old are you? I just turned 12. But I have seen even Mods say, "Age is just a number." My friends say I am mature for my age.

What timezone are you in? Eastern Standard Time Zone.

What country do you live in? United States of America. I live in Pennsylvania.

What languages do you speak? English and a little bit of French.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Yes; a user said, "Can anyone give me a good HG Server?" I replied. I was banned. At the time, I was not as smart as I am now. Needless to say, it will never happen again.

Why do you think you should be a mod? OK, this is the part where I tell you how great I am. Get ready for some gloating:

I am a quick thinker and typer; I can reply to /msg's extremely quickly. I also have experience in a large variety of plug-in commands. I am used to people raging, and I can deal with a lot of pressure. I also frequently ask (but not spam) in chat, "If you have ANY questions regarding SkyBlock, /msg brangorm!" I am very experienced on the server, and I have helped a lot of people already. I am asking to be a mod because people will go to me for questions more frequently. As a regular user, and I am sure I am speaking for all of us here, whenever I see a mod, I think to myself, "Aw, there goes Xita. He is so awesome. I wanna be a mod some day." Even though I was once banned, I think that it is good that I will know what it's like to be banned before banning anyone else, if I am to be a mod.

I want to make a difference on this server. I am extremely familiar with what users are allowed and not allowed to trade. For example, if I were to see someone say: "ANYONE WANNA TRADE A BUCKET?" I would immediately take a screenshot and give the user one warning. That is all I give and I feel that should be enough. Anyone who is too dense to break the same rule after being told not to shouldn't be welcome at Skyblock.net, in my opinion. As a mod, I would want to be more of a chaperone; I am not in this for the commands. I have seen people abuse their mod commands on other servers. They will set death traps for people who are new on the server, and even sometimes wreck the spawn. Those are the people who walk around thinking the world owes them something. I will tell you, I have learned the world owes me nothing a while ago. But enough about my personal life, that's for later; as a mod, I will right people's wrongs and do what ever I can to make this server the best anyone has ever been on.

I do a lot of different extracurricular activities. In these classes/teams/clubs, I have learned that people will wear a "badge of excellence" (being a mod, in this case) and take it as a fact that they are done. Done with whatever they have been doing for the past few weeks, or sometimes years. In my karate class, we learn that the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. I will bet that some mods on other servers will be satisfied with what they have done the second they are admitted to the staff team. Wearing the "badge of excellence", for me, will only symbolize that I have reached one of many goals not only in Minecraft, but in real life. Being a mod will put many different responsibilities on my chest. This will prepare me for the real world as well as put me up to bat and see if I can hit the home-run that is perfection. However, this is a metaphorical term; I do not believe in perfection.

If I am admitted to the Skyblock.net staff team, I will teach myself to ignore the three little letters next to my name. Like a black belt in karate, this may symbolize excellence, but both of these things mean nothing by themselves. The real meaning of being a mod, in my opinion, is taking on the leadership of hundreds of people that are most likely relying on you. When I first heard myself say this in my own mind, I won't lie: I was intimidated. Being a mod, I thought, will be the most impossible and stress-inducing thing I have ever done if I am chosen. I then remembered one of the traits my dad teaches me to always have; perseverance.

Perseverance brought me through many tough situations in my life. Those situations would have brought me down and made me give up. But using this word gave me a power I can only feel when I feel like I am just about to stop trying. So just a note to any one reading this - whenever you feel like giving up, remember this word: perseverance. So if my inbox gets flooded with one too many PM's, if there's just one too little bars on my laptop for a good internet connection, if there is any time where I just want to keep ripping my hair out until I'm bald: I just keep carrying on and remember that the more I work at something, the better I feel about myself when it is all done. I think that perseverance would make a good trait to have when being a mod.

What qualifications do you have? I can calm people down, and I am very interactive. I have two sisters, so I have experienced extreme anger before. I get good grades in school and have a lot of friends with lots of different personalities; I can work with all kinds of people. In whatever I am doing I am very professional. You will notice this Mod application has next to no spelling errors. This is because of the fact that when I see something that's out of place, I notice it immediately. Then it nags at me until I change it. In a way, this will be like how I react if I see rule-offenders.

Most people will say, "I'll do whatever you ask me to." This is a good trait. However, users can't have a line of mods each waiting to ask, "What do you want me to do?". Mods who jump right in and help are much more efficient. I can do that. I am also a very organized person in whatever I am doing. I have been on multiple different PVP servers and have been killed (what feels like) thousands of times. However, unlike most users, I don't use my Minecraft account as a Facebook account:

Never once has anyone ever seen in chat:
brangorm: OMG HACKERRRRRR HES A HACKERRRR!! BAN HIM! BAN HIM NAAOW!!

**Note: If I were to see this in chat on skyblock.net, I would let them off with a warning telling them not to spam. Then a ban if it is done again.

I don't know why, but I have always been very interested in what users have to say. The reason I don't know why is because a [small] portion of chat on every server consists of something like "HALP! I NEED 56 FREE DIAMOND INGITS!" But whatever the reason is, I never think what anyone has to say doesn't matter. I put myself into their shoes and try to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it (if, of course, it was not a outrageous request). On average, I can help about 4 or 5 people a day with this tactic. I hope these numbers will skyrocket if I am a Mod.

I read somewhere that police officers are not allowed a taser until they have it administered on themselves. I know what it is like to be banned; not fun. You feel isolated from your favorite server. (That's because you are.) Since I know what it is like to be banned, I will have more knowledge on what exactly I am doing when I type /ban. Of course, I am not eager to ban anyone. I'm just pointing out that I won't be kidding myself saying, "Oh, I'll never have to ban anyone. Being a mod will be a piece of cake."

Even now, when I am not a mod, I can see people encouraging spam (Say 123 if you're on a Mac! etc.), complaints of griefs, and many other things that break rules in a quantity of different ways. I usually say something like, "Dan, don't encourage spam." or something like that, but if I see someone doing something major (does something they shouldn't have to be told not to do), my hand instinctively flies to the "f2" button on my keyboard and I report the player on the Forums. I feel bad when I have to do this. But when someone says, "I just lava griefed my friend's island xDDD", you gotta' do what you gotta' do. I hope that I will be able to do something about it instead of just reporting them on the forums.

I take my Minecraft gameplay very seriously. If I say that I will talk to someone on the forums, you can expect me to be there. When I say that I can be online for a few more hours, I can only be online a few more hours. I am extremely trustworthy; I've never told anyone a secret in my life and I can carry out orders quickly and cleanly. I never swear, even when all my friends at school do it themselves. When I do see someone swear, it tells me they have too little a vocabulary to think of anything else to say, which makes them look rather dumb. I have no use for it.

I have my own copy of the "Trading F.A.Q.'s" so I know what is and is not allowed to trade between users. I am a very independent person; I always try to work out my problems myself before I go to find help. As a Mod, I must be very self-reliant. Since I already am, it will be relatively easy for me to adjust.

I was talking to a user about how the server used to have a spawn made up of a 5x5 platform and a few signs. And then I saw this:

Noobcrew: brangorm, you're an oldie if you remember that spawn.

True story. But my point is, I have been on the server for a while. In the time I've been on Skyblock.net, I have met many people and made a lot of friends. I have come to know how the server runs and that is what I like most about it. I want to contribute not only to the Skyblock staff but to the users on the server that are just getting to know the place. I want them to have an even better experience than I did when I first joined. That's a HUGE motivation considering how much fun I had on the server as a young Noobling.

How long can you be active on the server everyday? From about 4:30 'till 9:00 weekends; about 4:30 to 8:00 week days.

How long have you been playing skyblock.net? Skyblock.net was one of the first servers I had ever been on. I had first joined Skyblock.net about 5 months ago.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? No, but you have to start somewhere. Although this much is true, I feel I have a general idea of what it is like to be a mod:

LIST OF THINGS I WILL EXPECT:
    1. CONSTANT PM'S
    2. AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT OF STRESS EVERY DAY
    3. TO NOT BE ABLE TO ANSWER A FEW PMs/QUESTIONS
    4. TO HAVE PRACTICED TYPING AT 1,000 MPH SO I CAN KEEP UP WITH USERS PM'ING ME
    5. TO HAVE EXTENDED THIS LIST WITH A FEW THINGS THAT I DID NOT EXPECT OVER TIME ( If I am a Mod)

I am confident I will be chosen as a Moderator. I know when situations need to be taken seriously and will act accordingly, but my real personality is fun and happy. If I am chosen, of course, I won't be able to thank you enough. I look up to the Skyblock.net staff and had always hoped to be a part of it some day. But for the time being, thank you for taking time out of your day to read this rather long application. I think I should be a Moderator because I have a good quantity of traits that would fit a Mod perfectly; I feel that if I have to adjust to too many aspects of being a Mod, I will not be an efficient one. I'll end it here, because I think I have said enough. Good day to you.

    tl;dr.

For the age matter, please.. for the life of god, dont say youre mature.
For some reason everyone who posts a mod application instantly becomes 'mature'

Could you define 'mature' for me?

Well, my friends call me an adult, and they say I'm a "Party Pooper" because I always go by the rules. I can't STAND when other people aren't being mature at all. They also say that I use words that are too large and that they can't understand me half the time. My friends I'm telling you about play on the server: Their usernames are "shhhane" and "MarkieC." If you think that the rest of my application does not support that statement as well as it should, I will gladly delete the part about being mature. If one of my opinions is opposed by many, I consider it untrue. Thanks for commenting, by the way! I'm glad this thread is getting some attention.

I'm trying to make one post a day to keep it active. There's nothing I can do to make other people reply to it.

Idk, I've let my app sit for a while now and it didn't get archived yet, spamming puts me under the impression that you want it TOO badly. which is quite negative.
I envy your enthousiasm, but don't push it too far ;)

I wanted to share this; it has a TON of sentimental value. I will literally NEVER forget the moment this appeared on my screen. I sent Noobcrew a message just thanking him for making the server, and I didn't expect a reply back. But when I found this appear on my screen, I almost fainted.

I was having a lot of fun, so here is exactly what I /msg'd him:

[me->noobcrew] I just wanted to thank you for making this server. I have made a lot of friends on it and I can't imagine what I would do without it! Thank you very much!

And then he replied to me with that.

Moderator application threads are no longer getting archived.
+ IF we will, it will be after 2 weeks not 2 days...

This is a very good made app there was a lot of details but could you please stop spamming and move all of this in one post and I'm not sure does it matter if Noobcrew told you you're awesome caz you said "you're server is awesome ...thanks for making....:" anyone could get that msg so it doesn't matter on a way ;P

    *sigh*
It's been two months, and as creekz said, "Don't bump unnecessarily." I think I've been getting feedback, and I want this to get noticed a little more.
    BAHMP!
