As the title says, I’m looking for someone to buy my ALT an expansion on Skyblock. If you are able to, please reply to this thread or start a PM on forums or discord (Fran#3102).

Tamagotchii upgraded my alt island twice. Firstly with 149x149, then 199x199 when I could afford that. He is online quite a lot and I managed to get a bargain off of him.

If the island is for map art, you can get away with 149x149 if your island is exactly or almost exactly in the middle of your map since each map is 128x128blocks.

 

Expanding on what Togpuss said, there are some islands out there that are not capable of making map art even with 199x199 expansion. If you’re spawn is on or near the border of the map then you’re screwed.
Ideally your spawn coord’s, X and Z will be a multiple of 128. If it’s within 10 blocks of a multiple of 128 then you will get away with just the 149x149 expansion.
Drogo bought such an island last night from some greenie so will be producing, but not selling map art soon.

 

Togpuss spent a ton of grass on Drogo cheap wool yesterday for map art.

 

I found an almost central island but not quite central and got the first expansion. I later found out that I was missing 5 blocks from the bottom so had to pay for the 109x199 upgrade.

 

man, just 5 blocks :dead

 

Drogo just kept visiting greenies until he found the right one and bought it from them. Spawn is exactly in the middle of the map.
Drogo paid well so he was very happy too.
