Whither spawning

    Is it possible to spawn whithers? and if you can, do they break blocks or not (like creepers)?

    Yes, it is possible to spawn withers in-game.
    And no, they don't break blocks.

    is there a reason why they don't break blocks? and also, is there a way to allow them to break blocks?

    Same reason as creepers. You wouldn't want your whole island to be destroyed. There isn't a way for them to break blocks either.

    Damn, its like I want them to break PaRt of my island (under controlled circumstances with obsidian etc.) but I guess this isn't the place to make a suggestion.
