Someone stole my spawner from my casino using a lever/redstone torch But Mods can't log who did that? I think the plugin for that should be changed- its getting quiet annoying for me Maybe you can log: Redstone items Chest shops Item frames Throwing items inside hoppers These are just the ideas I have right now
Log block is one of the easiest/best log plugins to use. I think most log plugins can’t log other items like redstone torches minecart with chests ect, meaning the devs would have to develop their own plugin which would take ages. I think it’s fine the way it is and players should be more careful not using stuff that isn’t detectable by logblock for example putting items in itemframes which logblock cannot be traced, neutral. I can refund you a spawner if you would like.
Logblock is the best logging plugin for our server set up. If the devs feel it is necessary to create a logging plugin just for entities they could, or alternatively, make one or find a new one. But I think it’s fine the way it is. Don’t put valuables in item frames.
I mean, they could always try seeing who placed redstone torches / levels near the spot and try to locate the spawner from there. The plugin is fine, and it think it would be very difficult to change it since we’ve been using it for years.
There are another plugins that can log these type of things. But these aren’t very well optimised for the server. They don’t work well and cause a lot of coding problems. Logblock is the best plugin for what we need. You will just have to be very careful with your casino design and who you /trust
There is a plugin called coreprotect that does what you are asking the devs have already tried it instead of logblock and the amount of entities the plugin has to log would just cause tremendous lag on the server. Logblock is designed to run seamlessly and cause the least amount of lag when running huge servers.
