Hey, I am new around here, is there a place I can read about the different servers and their play styles? Are all the servers built to work together or separate? Whats the IP to connect?
Feel free to connect to skyblock.net, and then use /servers from there, to switch between the different Skyblock versions. You can freely move between servers; however, they are not all the same, and items, perks, and ranks do not transfer between them. Classic Classic is the original Skyblock server, which currently runs on 1.8, and is the oldest of the three. The economy is based on a bartering system, rather than having an official currency. Skyblock /skyblock is somewhat similar to the classic server; however, it runs in 1.12 rather than 1.8. There are quite a few extra features, such as /friends, an island leveling system, the option to purchase expansions, and extra items due to the fact that it is intended to be played in a newer version of Minecraft. Economy As the name suggests, the economy server relies on an official currency, rather than a barter system, and includes things such as an auction house, an official /shop command, and a slightly different rank system. The servers can work together, and it is quite common for users to trade items on one server, for something of equivalent worth on another; however, it is entirely possible to choose only one server to play on, without ever needing to join the others.
Do your items in the Skyblock server carry over to the economy server? like can I mine cobblestone in sykblock and sell it in economy?
The items unfortunately do not transfer; however, if you find someone willing to trade with you, it is perfectly fine to sell the cobblestone on Skyblock, in return for items or cash on economy. The physical items will not be able to be transferred though, meaning that the user trading with you will be given cobblestone on /skyblock, and you will receive the items on /economy.
Hellos. I will try to help you out. We really do not have a guide about that. Maybe we can start one with your suggestion. Welcome to Skyblock. The concept is to get by on an extremely limited area. You start off with a small island in the sky with a chest and one tree. The chest has the bare essentials to help you get more blocks and items. The challenge is to use your resources wisely and expand the island. The server has a shop and trade with players for other items. The game stresses ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness. It always tests how business savy you are. There are 3 main servers: Skyblock - skyblock.net - 1.12 version of MC Economy - skyblock.org - 1.12 version of MC Classic - skyblock.com - 1.8 version of MC Skyblock is the update to the classic server. Classic used to be Skyblock. Both game styles are similar. The main currency is the grass block. So you must balance your need. Do you expand your island, or do you trade your grass block for other items? Economy is different because it uses money as it's currency system. The game calls it skybucks. But it's the same challenge, expand while starting with limited resources. If you want to succeed on any of the skyblock servers, you will have to learn to grind and farm. Everyone works their way up from the bottom. You will have to learn to build a cobblestone generator and how to make a tree farm. It is hard to start out, so you may use the command /vote to earn 3 rewards per day. There are also a couple mini-game type things to help you out. You will also get to know a lot of players going through the same struggle. Check out these commands in game: /rules /help /sb /sbhelp /warp /settings /server Most players are nice enough to give you in game help. If there are pressing issues, check out the rest of this website. There are different sections to report problems, ask specific questions, etc. We also have a discord you can check out here. Happy Skyblocking!
Unfortunately no. Island reset clears out the player's inventory. There is no recovering from that. I can share with you a few of my own vote keys though. Please be careful in the future. Items lost to in game actions like death or the void or island reset are not refunded. Which server are you on? And what is your username in game?
No no... I can not expect that of you! I will learn from my mistakes.... On the new SB server same username as on here
Do you have another copy of that guide? i fell off my skyblock because lag wouldnt let me climb up water and lost it.
