Hello Tazmania221, thank you for appealing.

You were banned for creating two inappropriate builds which could be offensive to some players. One was a wood structure saying 'niger'. Although I am aware this is a country in Africa, it seems suspicious that a sign, indicating that you and other people on your island were proud of your home country, was placed 20 minutes proceeding the main wood structure being created. Not to mention, this sign was not even placed by you.

The other structure was a cross associated with Christianity - which was on fire and made of netherrack. This can be interpreted in a offensive way to many people.

Now on to your claim that these builds are not inappropriate under the rules. The rules do state that racism/discrimination is not tolerated. This includes religious discrimination. Although this is under 'chat related offences', it is common sense that this rule definitely would apply by other means, whether it be on signs or buildings.

The structures will be removed from your island. I hope you understand what you have done and that you won't do it again in the future

Since this is your first offence, could you please restate the rules in your own words. Once the structures have been removed from your island and you restate the rules, I will unban you on the condition that you will be more harshly punished in the future if you were to ever commit another offence.
