Hi, I've changed my biome twice and nothing is different. Is this normal? I have a swamp biome atm but my water is blue just like before. I do get little blue flowers of course but what's the sense of biomes if nothing forms naturally? I can't get clay which is in swamps...also, I bought 2 bat spawn eggs from the trade shop and they despawned. Is that also normal?

Did you leave the island? The chunks need to reload so the biome swapping can be done successfully. Try /spawn or visiting someone for a bit of time and then going back. You can also use F3 (The ones used to see coords), since it shows the Biome you are standing on.

 

yes, I did leave the island. It does say it's a swamp biome under f3 but I should think I would have swamp water.

 

I used to have issues with this command. I would just lock your island and boot everyone, buy the biome change, leave your island via /spawn and go back to your island.
