I don't really think making a thread for this reason is necessary. You can always edit it into your application or post it on your profile page. Otherwise, I like your new name. Its better than the old one ; )

You can also go to the top right of your forums page and go to your name and it will be the first one to the left personal details

 

Don't forget the cooldown to change your name is a month.
