Firstly, who am I?
My name is Craney100. I have been playing on Skyblock since 2012, on and off. Throughout my time playing on Skyblock, I have met some amazing people - some of whom are still within the community, and others that have left. My aim within the server is to make people happy, and enjoy myself whilst making friends and being part of an awesome community. My most active server that I play on is Economy, however I occasionally hop on to Survival.

My main language is English, which I am fluent in.
I take French at School, and have been doing for the past 5 years - so you could say I have a good understanding of the French Language.
I have also learnt Spanish in the past, I can speak and understand a fair amount.

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Yes

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes, I do.
I can take screenshots in game with F2, Gyazo and Imgur.
I can screen record with Xbox Capture (always able to access on my computer).
I can also screen record with Bandicam.

Why do you think you should become a staff member?
Personally, I think becoming a staff member would have a positive effect on myself, and the community.
I have all the qualities that someone who qualifies to be a staff member should have.
I am Understanding, and can listen to anyone's queries or questions should they have them, and respond rapidy. This shows that I have good means of communication.
I am Active, and spend lots of time on the server which shows my dedication, and love for the server.

I also have Perseverance. I have been apply for staff over the past 5 years, which shows I have learnt a lot about how to improve myself as a person, but also my image towards the rest of the community - and how I portray myself. I have took that on board exceptionally well, creating a standard of professionalism and rule-abiding for myself.

I want to help the community in all ways possible, and I have the ability to do that. With my qualities I can help to create a fun-loving experience for the whole community, helping out others and moderating the server. I am Fair and can stand back and take a look at the big picture, come to a conclusion that is unbiased and justified.

I can help in more ways than one, and my experience of playing on the server can help with this. Watching from the sideline I can understand the ins and outs of being a role model within the community. I am helpful, and I frequently ask in Chat if anyone needs any help with anything. I also have a dual monitor set up, which means I can be active on the Forums and In-Game at the same time. This shows that I can multi-task well.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
On weekdays, I can be active for a minimum of 3 hours.
At the weekends, I can be active for up to 11 hours a day.

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
6-7 years on and off

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)
I have had a few temp-bans in game in the past, mainly for foolish reasons, such as spam.
I have live and learned, and matured since then.

Do you have any previous moderation experience?
I have.
A while back I owned my own server, and then was a Super Admin on a server with a daily population of 200 people. I have also been a Moderator on other servers that hold a substantial player base.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes!

No support for now, you’ve only recently been active on forums, and I haven’t seen you messaging in game, although that may just be me - so I’m sorry if that was unfair. In my opinion you should continue being active on forums and in game and I’ll reply if I have anything else to add. Good luck!!

Sorry but no support. I have never ever seen you in game, and only saw you recently on forums. Might me just being in the wrong timezones, hut that doesn't explain your forums activity. I'd say get to know the server and the community a little more before applying again.

 

I'm not going to be a person who is going to say "no support because I haven't seen you in-game" or no support because I haven't seen you helping. I'm basing my opinion on whether you would be a good candidate for the future.

In this case I do think that you could be a good Helper for this server (judging from your application)

It has decent and detailed information in the application and you seem mature enough.

Also let's not forget that you're an OG, you've been playing since 2013 and what I hate about this is that people are judging you from your recent gameplay, which is true you could get more actively involved with the community, but they're not taking into account that you're from 2013. This player obviously knows how to play the server and he knows what is allowed/disallowed in game. You where active back them years and if you can stay active the way you did before, then I don't see why people want to no support you.

Please do take into consideration that the server I spend 90% of my time on is Economy, and I am in the GMT Timezone.

 

I don't believe I've ever seen you in game but you seem to have a grasp of how the server works and your application is pretty well written. I'm gonna say neutral for now, but I'll keep an eye out for you, as well as a welcome back to the server

I don't get all these people saying "I never see you" because you're obviously on economy mostly. Having a mod active on economy might be nice, I'm not sure if most mods stick to survival most of the time or not. Support.

Going from what most people have been saying I have to agree with them regardless of what some people know or have said. If you are more active and if I see you on /classic once in a while I will change this to support instead. But other than that you seem really nice and I like where you are going from this.

If you're using 1.13, switch to 1.12, the plugin they use for 1.13 is super glitchy.
