I feel it's a bit unfair to play the lotto with a set cap of 2 tickets and then some people get 6-10 alts to buy tickets upping the odds on their end while at the same time lowering them for everyone else. They gain back all money spent if any of the alts win and decrease the rate of wins for those of us without alternate accounts And some people instantly buy in as soon as the lotto is drawn, every single time. like they're using a script I reiterate, It just doesn't seem fair.
Sometimes bots have the 'Skyblock Mod' by m0gliez, its making them buy lottery tickets when the lottery is over. Even though, it will be hard to make alts not allowed in the lottery.
Personally I do think it is unfair. Many people don't have the means to alts plus happen to have the means to afk alts 24/7 then have them buy lottery automatically. The more you participate the more you win. The issue has been brought up on more than one occasion but so far have heard nothing more about this. So the only way to really ensure you don't lose your money in a way you see as unfair is to not purchase lottery.
Would people using alts still be an issue if you were to win 5000 instead of the 1000 you would have won if they didn't use them? I really don't see a problem, reasons stated by iako.
Right, I pointed this out to the original poster, he was talking about it in chat on the server, I offered the analogy that if you go into any gas station, they don't limit how many lottery tickets you can buy. They don't tell the person in line behind that he or she are limited to the same amount of tickets that you bought. The odds of winning are far greater on the server than an actual lottery. Bet only what you can afford to loose.
