We have just been experiencing some lag issues, commands not working but the server has just seemed to crash altogether. Any explanations?

 

Sorry I think it was my fault, I accidentally left mob spawning enabled without having something killing mobs while i was afk fishing, went back and placed the lava but I think too many mobs were in the same space and it crashed the server. Really sorry =( Saying this so whatever steps need to be taken can be taken to fix it. Unless it was a complete coincidence we crashed right when i placed my lava source.

 

I dont know how it affects others but when I log on it only loads 1 chunk and disconnects me, I dont know what happens to anyone else.

 

Please, stop making vertical pumpkin farms with 300-400+ pistons all activating in a single chunk. I've seen at least 4 vertical farms extending from y:0 to y:256 with at least several hundred pistons all activating at once, or trying to at least. Spread you farms out horizontally.

I'm no longer having issues, not even sure if my issue was affecting anyone else or not, not many people talking about it

 

Yeah the server is no longer laggy. My best guess is someone having some large farms/grinders lagging the server

You can make large pumpkin farms but not from y0 to y255 lol

no lag at all has been produced from my farm. as i said, no reasoning.

 

tps has constantly been at 19 while my farm is operating.
