wood is somewhat hard to come by if you dont have a log farm which are very expensive to make that is why nether wart should be the new type of fuel, netherwart being easy to farm and coming from the land of fire, the nether, it would be the perfect fit to be the new type of fuel!
Wood is not 'hard to come by', you can usually buy 2-3 stacks of logs for 1 grass and if you do /visit zziiggyy they sell charcoal for the price of 128:1 (I think, I can't remember). Wood has got to be one of the most easiest materials to get apart from cobblestone and stuff like that.
the economy here is epicly oversaturated and inflated epic gamer style crew will just have to keep on making new skyblock servers to get that fat revenue
your changing the whole mechanics on Minecraft nether wart has never been used as fuel and never will it be
thats what plugins are for and modifying the code for nether wart you know how we cant dye sand to make red sand normally thats because we modified the code and made a plugin and changing the whole mechanics of minecraft
You can smelt wood with wood and get charcoal... no support as fuel sources are very easy to obtain already.
That makes sense to make it easier to trade sand legally and prevent people from doing it illegally and using netherwart makes no sense
I dont see a need to use netherwarts as such. Wood makes charcoal, coal can be mined from stone/cobble gens, blaze rods and lava can also be fuel. I don't think we are at a point where fuel is hard to obtain and it seems like this is more work for the dev for something very small... although it is unique.
It’s not actually hard to get wood just place a dirt and a sapling on that and wait for it to grow or use bone meal. So I am going with no support on this one.
Neutral, I like the creativity, but sometimes creative ideas are not very evened out, in this case, nether wart is too easy to obtain from other players than charcoal and wood.. not to mention that nether wart is naturally grown in the Nether so it would most likely, due to Minecraft logic, be resistant to fire and wouldn't burn as well.
