Please give me a coupon for my 137 spawners please idc if you say 2,50 or 5 dollar per spawner but I worked so many days to get all of the spawners and im really mad that they are just kind of useless now.
I think this change will work out in the long run! People may be upset now, but having to put effort into getting your resources isn't that bad!

they arent wasted! They still work for other things. If people wouldnt abuse the afk farming so much this change wouldnt have had to be made..

Here's my two cents, I'm part of two of the biggest islands on NET, (I'm part of StupidOP's and Narwheenie's islands on two different accounts, contributing to both) and I also specialise in grinders as I have been building them for the past 6 years on Minecraft. I recently acquired 112 spawners for my grinder and I am quite upset that they are null and void until I figure something else to use them for. The other grinder I built has 85 spawners and another 200+, I am really upset that the time and money I put into these grinders are completely void; nevertheless, I completely understand your decision of disabling them as grinders are basically a growing 'epidemic' throughout the server, everyone has one. I hope to see something done about the situation in the very near future as gold is my only source of income in the server, and it's what I spend all my time working on. Thanks for reading this.
I love this. Us players who don't want to make our island full of gold blocks finally have a chance to make it onto the leaderboard. Thank you for this, Noobcrew and Lee. (Also I hope this fixes a lot of lag!!) Sumner At the end of the day it is the owner of the server and the developers choice in the matter. You gambled your money by DONATING it to the server; you are never guaranteed to get anything in return so it is your fault if you used your money on spawners.
If gold blocks aren’t worth anything you should make grass blocks worth more levels so it encourages players to place them so there won’t be as much grass on the server then prices of everything else will go up and it could balance things out.
Is it really fair to say that spawners are null and void or worthless simply because you can't use them to spawn one specific type of mob? Visit mingo_x on /classic if you've forgotten how useful and valuable spawners can be.
If you let pigmen just drop gold nuggets that alone would fix the hopper and some of the lag. I have almost 300 spawners and lots of hoppers, but recently I have been adjusting my grinders to use less hoppers and dispose of the unwanted nether watrts, Dye and bones accordingly into lava. But if they didn’t drop those three in the first place you would need significantly less hoppers.
Ur right, but they were dropped to help new players get nether wart, yellow dye, and bones. Removing them from zombie pigmen drops would be unfair to new players, who won't see the point of this or sell them all for 4 dias each lol
Can someone please explain to me how my island level is only 6k... I have over 15k grass blocks placed, a dragon egg, 20+ beacons, and over 20 rare heads.. I thought this was supposed to make rare items worth more.
For whatever [CENSORED] reason, they nerfed gold's levels.... So stupidop's location is now #16 leaderboards...
As Noobcrew explained in his thread, part of the reason for the lag was the way in which we nerfed the drops and the way players compensated for it. That's one of the reasons why we've un-nerfed Zombie pigmen drops completely, and they now have their natural drops. This includes not only gold nuggets, but gold ingots and gold swords, which can be smelted into gold nuggets. And they respond to standard weapon enchantments such as Looting III. If we can add sensible limits to the number of spawners and hoppers that can be placed on an island, then it might be safe to re-enable zombie pigmen in the overworld, even with their newly increased drop rates. But players used to AFK farming for gold aren't likely to voluntarily dismantle their suddenly much more profitable grinders now that zombie pigman drops have been un-nerfed, and we can't keep losing more players than we retain because the TPS is constantly in single digits because we have a handful of players AFK farming for gold at enormous grinders all day long. The people AFK grinding aren't really enjoying the game, and they're not really letting anyone else enjoy it either. The game isn't much fun when TPS is hovering at 7 or 8 when the economy server's TPS is double that amount for the same number of players. People always clamor for us to fix the lag, yet when we do the one thing that can actually fix the problem, it's treated like a world-ending crisis. Those who seek out new opportunities that change inevitably brings will always do better than those who simply complain about how unfair it is that they can't just keep doing things the way they were accustomed to. Watch and see how many enterprising players will find new and innovative uses for the spawners that richer players now consider worthless.
