I'm thinking that we should add Languages to Skyblock, I see a bunch of people speaking Different Languages instead of English.

We could have a option on /sb menu in page 4, "Change Language"
We could add Languages to /skyblock or /sb

To the people who said "Neutral, we gotta rework all signs at warps/spawn" There could be like whenever you have another language on and right click the signs, you will get a private message in chat to see what the sign says in Another Language.

Languages:
Spanish,
French,
German,
Dutch,
Italian,
etc.

After the Language is changed, Everything in English will change.

NOTE: Not Everything will change, The chat won't change.

 

Do u mean like those helping texts that come up with [Skyblock]?
If yes it would be nice to have the possibility of choosing in which language you want them to come up if thats even possible.

 

Support, if it’s possible, this could be a nice edition. Skyblock is an international server, it makes sense to provide other language options - also for anyone learning a language they may find this useful.

Neutral. Im not sure if it’ll be worth the trouble. With basic english you can get pretty far on the server, and the besst way to learn a language is to use it (own experience) ☺️

they do, and so do I if people need help, thats why I'm neutral. I'd expect it to be very time consuming changing the language and translating everything properly and making sure there are no errors. Like, I'll be willing to help translate if they need it
Over all adding it would be nice, just the pro's and con's make me go neutral

Neutral this is a good idea but automatic translators aren't the best and make many mistakes, so the translations may be wrong. Also I rarely see players speaking other languages

 

Neutral. The majority of players that play on this server either speak English as their first language, or are fluent enough to be able to effectively communicate with the rest of the server. I have seen very few people join that are not able to speak at least basic English, and in those cases, there is usually someone in chat who either knows the language just as well and is able to help them, or is able to simply use google translate to converse with the player. English is a very common language; many countries even require students to learn it in school. I don’t think that this would really be necessary, as there are much easier ways to overcome the language barrier.

 

There can be volunteers who are ready to translate the texts. For example I speak 3 more languages professionally after english and I would be ready to do so.

No support, agreeing with what michael1234 said and also implementing such a change would require lots of effort, time, and cost.

 

Neutral, it would be a nice international-friendly addition but yet most of the player base speaks English anyway, so personally I’m not sure if it’s even worth that amount of effort.

 

What would be changed into the languages that you suggested? I'm confused at how this would work, could you edit the thread to clarify what you are talking about?
