Though the shops are nice, it gets irritating when half the chat is advertising for their island. I wish there was a way to ignore it without /ignoring the actual player

Most of the people advertising are usually alts so you can just /ignore them if you get too annoyed by the ads. I'm sticking with neutral

But however, some bots are just main accounts that are afk, so if they are no longer afk, you may want to listen to their chat again. Support on the idea but idk if this is possible to do though

Neutral, it's an interesting idea, but I don't see how it would be possible to omit this without ignoring the player outright.

A fair amount of repeat advertisements get stopped and filtered anyway, so you always see a reduced amount. I'd assume, if you don't wish to see the global ads, /quiet mode, and chat in PM, /ignore the player or just ignore the advert would be the best way around it.

The Ads annoy me too, VonShop's alts do 2 ads per page, we have /ignore and /quiet,

no support because with small shops like mine i rarely advert ( because idk how to set up forge xP) and adverting is good for growing your shop/ donations

 

I think adding channels would be useful, but for other off topic reasons. Even if it was implemented, what's going to stop people from using main chat? It seems like a pain having to watch chat to enforce new rules, or implementing a special advertisement filter etc.

 

Not sure if this is possible, but I believe that there should be rules on advertising in general

 

I've tweaked this, the ads itself already ran on a longer timer but from a software bug they seem to continuously sync.


My suggestion beside this is to make a Skyblock advertisement people could "rent". the bot itself would then just filter trough the multiple people who gave it a line to say. should shorten all the ads to just one person.

 

The problem is if you make a shop only chat then advertisers will see each other’s shops and people in the main chat won’t see any of the adverts, so like, what’s the point? The staff keep like to keep players into a strict 1 advert per page rule, so it shouldn’t be too spammy.

No support. I don't think there is a way to get adblocker into the server. It would require extensive commitment between Eyeo GmbH, the company that is responsible for the extension, and the devs. Also to code it into minecraft would literally be a waste of time cause adblocker is meant for Google Chrome, not a minecraft server, no matter the size. Plus I there's hardly any demand for it. I would assume the coding would be different in almost every way. Even if adblocker was installed, noobcrew would have to pay a certain fee to run it.


All in all, it's just a waste of time and 100% sure Eyeo GmbH will not do it lol
