9/28/18 Shop Keepers Protest Higher Diamond Prices! Just In! Shop keepers demand lower prices for iron, Spawners, Emeralds and more! They want to host an all shop keeper meeting to raise prices of diamonds changing the Economics of the game as a whole Will this be a change for the good or a turn for the bad? I personally think it'll be a change for the good making kits as useful as ever! Also Would we revert back to the Classic economics? Alsoooo making the lottery 10x more useful for newer players with diamonds Prismarine Related Block Prices Dropping? That's Right! Prismarine Prices are slowly dropping as More and more people Are Using /visit GrinderIsland's Gaurdian Spawners this is one of the few public gaurdian grinders out there and even this one has its pros and cons Legendary Crate Keys Coming to Public???? We all know Legendary crate keys have been public for a while now BUT! only by the shop With a recent post about legendary keys coming to rare crate keys along with a disguise crate people loved the idea and the Developers seem to be working on something big could this be it? 1.13 Economics crash possible? With the release of 1.13 came a flow of blocks the questions are What is the new rare or rares going to be? i suspect a turtle shell but with not much water based islands this may be wrong Witch new blocks will be in the game? As of now i do not know How will the economics crash? Well not exactly crash but with the new blocks will come everyone wanting them and with dried kelp as a new fuel will charcoal become useless? and with the new blocks will become a very high demand and which i say what are the prices for these blocks anyways if any are coming that is. Also 1 spawner WILL NOT change the price of prismarine haha, I already tried it with a 5 spawner public island
Shopkeepers will just have to find other ways to make money then. That’s all this is. A constant cycle of people finding some way to make money, over using it, people follow, there becomes so much competition and the price drops and it no longer is worth it. Public grinders are useful for people that can not afford spawners or legendary keys to get a guardian spawner. There is no con to them... When the economy becomes more important than keeping new players then the server suffers. We are making it too difficult for non donors/new players to enjoy majority of the server and they leave. 100 people joined in the space of 6 hours (alts and new players) yet we don’t seem to keep these players for long. We need to think about how we can help keep players on our server so we survive as much as we consider how valuable items are.
To be honest let the market decide on the prices. If people want a lot of iron, the demand will be high, so yes the prices will skyrocket due to a limited supply. For cobble its not same because cobble you can generate from a cobble generator, so the prices will go down. There's a demo @ spawn
