Do you think you should be unbanned: yes I should and I shouldn't of gotten banned in the first place but I guess a 1 month ban for calling someone gay is justified

Or am I getting that wrong? I could be, the logs don't specify who banned you.

Oh, okay. If she said she did then she probably did. In that case, given Mercy no longer has banning perms on the Discord, she can't take your appeal. I'll do it it if that's okay with everyone.

I don't remember it exactly. But im pretty sure cyp joined and then we all started messing around and then I called Cypriotmerkz gay and Mercy, or Him took offence to it and banned me.

 

Mercy's told me that she didn't ban you. I'd ask why you lied, but this is Cyp's appeal now, so you'll have to wait for him to reply

Since Cyp can't take this appeal anymore, I'll do my best to resolve it.

For some reason, you tell me that Mercy told you she was the one who banned you when she told me the exact opposite. So, when you say you don't remember what happened beyond chatting to Cypriot and calling him gay, why should I take your word for that?

 

idk I mean I can pull up the chat if mercy dms me but I mean unless she does thats gonna be a idk why you would really. But i mean unless I can Somehow pull up messages in game thats gonna be a im not sure why you would

Also are we really calling this case homophobia? If this was homophobia for calling someone "Gay" then using that logic half the server is banned.

 

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're saying in the first paragraph. If you could show me what Mercy sent you, as you said you could in the first response, that would be helpful.

 

I mean that is entirely based off of if mercy messages me, Currently I wont be able to bring up the conversation unless, She messages me because I have no screenshots, And removed her from my message list due to needing to clean it up.

 

From my experience, if you re-open a conversation with Mercy, it should still have your old convo there. I could be wrong though.

so you see the X on the file upload? I pressed X on it and it deleted the convo. BUT if mercy messages me all the OLD messages are there. I can't REOPEN it due to mercy not being on my friends list.

 

COOL. Thanks for replying. Here's how to open the convos again, unless I'm missing something. There could definitely be a variable I'm not considering (I'm no Discord expert).
Example person: is neither my friend nor shares any servers with me.
1) Removing the person (you've already done this)

2) Opening the convo again

Alright, let's just give up on that idea. As you can see, I wasn't on the same server as the person in the demonstration, so that's not it.

So, from what I understand, you were in a channel with Cyp and you, possibly among other people, were being rude and calling him gay. Then, following him banning you from the discord server, you logged onto the in-game server and continued to abuse Mercy, Cyp and others in private message. I'm basing this off various anecdotal evidence I've received, so please correct me if any of that is wrong. I'd like to fully understand what happened before we continue.
