    1. Server name (.net / .org ): Skyblock.net
    2. In-game name: Ankitrin
    3. Full exact Ban Message: Island Farming
    4. Did you read the rules ? Yes i did
    5. Why do YOU think you were banned? I think i was banned because of a misunderstanding causing the mods to think i was island farming.
    6. Was this an incorrect ban? i think it was yes
    7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I have never been banned on skyblock before.
    8. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I have never broken the rules. The misunderstanding is simple. the logs say me and my alt have been removing dirt from said alts island. this is very true. However the dirt removed is on my island for safe keeping. this dirt will be placed back once the island i mined it on is finished with serving as a tradestation for a lot of pixelbanners from a person who is never online on the same time as me. if you check the island you will see a bunch of chests (for the pixel banners) and in the middle one the payment (for said banners) i do not deny having removed the dirt, nut like i said it will be placed back on the same island once it has served its purpose. if this however is a problem i will be happy to tell/show you the chest where the dirt is stored and you or me can destroy or trash it all. i would much rather throw away all that dirt than being banned for island farming. there is no grass on my mains island exept for small patches of farmland and/or flowerbeds, there are not tradeshops selling dirt either and clearly this dirt is not being used for anything else than safekeeping. the accounts in question are all my alts and i have a plan for them all. so sorry if this means i broke any rules and it will never happen again. Please have mercy

Hello AnkiTrin, thank you for taking the time to create an appeal.

As you have stated in your appeal, you were banned for island farming. At one of the islands, owned by your alternate accounts, you and your alternate account had broken 701 blocks of dirt, as well as 37 blocks of sand, which can be seen here.

If I am understanding everything correctly, and please correct me if I am not, you have removed the dirt from your alternate account's island, to place back there once you finish trading banners with a player. I understand that you are saying you were simply removing the dirt to place it back once you were done with the island, however, if this is the case, why was so much dirt destroyed? It shows nearly 750 blocks, that are normally illegal to trade, being destroyed on your alternate account's island, without any of it being placed. There are only two ways that this can be explained. The first possibility is that your alternate account's island was previously terraformed, or you had placed grass on the island, long enough ago, that there are no more log block records of the grass being placed, meaning that it looks like you island farmed when you decided to remove it. The only other possibility is that you had restarted your island multiple times, because you had either gotten bored with it, or needed to restart it for whatever reason. I understand that you may have gotten rid of the dirt, by either voiding it, or placing it in a chest above lava, as you have been a part of the server for quite a while, and know the rules about illegal trading.

However, that being said, the logs do seem very suspicious, as there are literally zero blocks of dirt or sand that have been placed by any off your accounts on that island. I believe that you are genuinely a good person, and you just made a mistake. I would like you to restate all of the rules, which can be found here, in your own words, and explain why each of the rules are necessary to keep the server a child-friendly place, for everyone to have fun, with equal opportunities. I would also like for 701 dirt, and 37 sand to be placed in a private chest on your island, for a moderator to retrieve, if your ban appeal is accepted, or when your ban expires.

Ofc. I am so sorry for any mistake i might have made. i promise this will never happen again and i have surely learned my lesson. I will make sure to place the sand and dirt in a chest on my island and contact a mod as soon as its done. Please give me a chance to show how good of a person i am. i Understand the rules and i will do anything to uphold them.

    Here are the rules

    • Player Disrespect:
Please respect and treat all players fairly. Disrespect, belittling, name-calling and "callouts" against any member (player or staff) is not allowed.

This is necassary to keep the peace and quiet on the server and to stop bullying and other mean things to be said towards another person on the server. the server is supposed to be a child friendly safe gaming enviroment

    • Chat Related Offenses:
Some chat offenses include but are not limited to spam, flaming, swearing, and filter bypassing. Chat offenses are always taken into context and punishment may vary.

this is necassary to keep the piece and quiet in the chat. and to prevent foul language to be used with minors present.

    • /Nick Abuse
Nick abusing is when you take the nickname of a player who had it first and use it for your own purposes. If the player gives you permission, you are allowed to use it. If you have permission to use someone's /nick, please try and have screenshot proof of them saying you can.

This rule is there to prevent people from impersonating you and getting away with offences in your name

    • Extreme Chat Related Offenses:
Some extreme chat offenses include but are not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, death wishes/death threats or discrimination of any sort. Chat offenses are always taken into context and punishment may vary.

this one is obvious. you may offend, scare, hurt people. and its there to prevent it

    • Advertising and Inappropriate Links:
Do not advertise any external website or IP that could potentially draw users away from Skyblock. Some exceptions include Twitch, Youtube, Crew’s/Cyp's other servers, or other channels. Do not post inappropriate links such as porn, screamers, etc.

this is here to keep people from posting links to offensive pages and /or advertising other servers that will again damage skyblock

    • Posting Malicious Links:
Do not send links meant to harm anyone. These can include porn, phishing links, links that download keyloggers, screamers, or IP grabbers.

this one is also obvious. harming websites are bad and ip loggers too. its to prevent any hacking from happening to the player

    • DDoS or Account Hacking Threats:
Do not threaten to DDoS any Skyblock members or services. Do not threaten to hack player accounts.

ddos is a serious offence. the rule is there to prevent it

    • Releasing Private Information and Doxing:
Do not seek to release or obtain the private information (or the ‘dox’) of anyone on Skyblock. This includes but is not limited to IP addresses, addresses, phone numbers, names, pictures or Skype usernames. The severity of the punishment will be determined by the information released, as follows:

Real name, IRL photos, family member names, and/or age: 7 day ban
(This must be reported by the player whose name/photo was released as not all players mind if this information is used.)

Skype username, any social media username, zip code, place of study or work, and/or town name: 14 day ban

IP addresses, phone numbers, full dox information, home addresses, email address, and/or passwords: 31 day - perm ban

this one is also obvious. everyone should have a private identity on the internet. to keep people from harm/harming

    • Ban/Mute Evading:

Do not ban/mute evade or try to get around a ban placed on one of your accounts. If you are given a punishment, you are expected to carry it out like everyone else.

This is here so that if you do the crime you have to do the time. just like everyone else.
    • Scamming:
Do not scam any user of Skyblock out of their items, rank, or money.

Skyblock staff do not refund items that you may be scammed of, so trade at your own risk.

(If reporting a scam, please be sure that we can clearly see exactly what you are trading for and both players agreeing to the trade in video evidence.)

this rule is here to prevent people from losing their hard earned valuables and items, and/or being tricked into selling them cheap.

    • Griefing:
Griefing is not allowed, however with most reported cases we ask that co-op members solve the issue between themselves. Changing island settings, trusting, and co-oping players is done at your own risk.

Multiple reported griefs from the same user will result in a 31 day ban, and minor grief punishments vary by moderator.

Single large griefs will also result in punishment as long as there is evidence that it was truly malicious griefing and not a spat among team members. Killing animals on islands without permission is also considered griefing.

this rule is here to prevent people from stealing or ruening other peoples items and islands. its there to keep the player and the players stuff safe

    • Island Farming:
Island farming is the term used for resetting a new island repeatedly in order to collect the materials (such as lava buckets, sand and dirt) for another island. This is a form of cheating and can lead to a ban along with confiscation of all materials.

this is here to prevent people from gathering large amounts of items and then trading them.
also island farming is considered cheating cause you end up obtaining items faster than anyone else.

    • Inappropriate Names and Skins:
Do not login to our server with an inappropriate skin or username. Do not /nick yourself an inappropriate name.

this can be offensive to others and the rule is there to keep that from happening

*Note: repeat offences can lead to extended bans and/or a permanent ban*

Thank you for reading through the list of rules, and explaining why each rule is necessary to ensure that Skyblock remains a safe place for people of all ages, as well as ensuring that each player has an equal. As this was your first offense, and I believe that you were not trying to cause harm to the server, you just made a mistake, I will accept this appeal. I would like to thank you for being respectful and cooperative throughout this whole process.

    Your appeal has been accepted.
