8. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I had been not directly told about rules by any mod and was only told about some rules about some unreliable sources, therefore in my eyes i was not breaking any rules as i was unknown to these. The moderator had banned me without mentioning or warning me that dirt trading was illegal and i think this is not right as i should have been warned by a MODERATOR or STAFF first before being banned. Now my little brother is banned from the server when he is in no way associated with my island or what had happened, IGN : DinoRangerHD

Thank you for appealing your ban. It is common place and sense that before you engage in play on any server, you read the rules provided for you and your safety. It does not become the moderator or staff member's issue if they ban you without you having knowledge of what you did.

Thank you for your reply, yes i understand this but when joining the server, the rules were no easily accessible or made known to me so how would i know to read the rules? not all servers have rules except from the obvious, hacking so no it is not common sense as it was not common knowledge that there were rules, neither did you warn me about this and just instantly banned which is not very fair ;/

 

The reason I didn’t warn you about this, is because we don’t warn before bans for major offences. It is assumed that people will see the rules and abide by them, and those who don’t face the consequences.

I’m glad you’ve read them now, and understand which items are illegal to trade.

Before I consider reducing your ban time, I’d like to understand a little bit more about what you were doing. How many people had you sold dirt to?

 

We had not sold dirt to anyone, that was the first time

 

Then what happened to the 800+ other dirt that had been broken on the island previously?

 

I had not been affiliated with that, he must have saved it for himself

 

If you were not affiliated with that, why are you on his island coop?

 

Considering both your bans have expired, I'll close and file this appeal. Please consider your future actions and make sure they follow the rules of the server. If you trust people too easily you can land yourself in a ban even if you aren't affiliated with them.
