That happens sometimes, we get old players that return and a lot (or some) of us remember that person and try to hang out with the person more. Unfortunately they sometimes leave again and rarely return :/ I had a few old friends irl. I do expect to meet them in college because most (like 70-80%) of the high school graduates end up at community college. So I am going to expect some old timers!
When you're all grown up and then go grocery shopping and realize the cashier's your high school buddy and scoop a discount :^)
I met an old friend. She had a baby. Several people I know had babies. One is married. I'm here playing video games. I think im winning.
I met someone from my childhood at the mall the other day. I was so shook but i couldn't say anything because he didn't remember me. lmfao.
Dont know if this counts, but I met my friend at a pizza place near me. He graduated high school a semester early than me, but we did sometimes text each other. Anyways he gave me a free pizza with a bbq swirl :')
I left my local elementary school a while back, and recently I’ve been at events where a large concentration of my old classmates attend, and it’s peculiar to talk to them again after five years. I have seen one old friend from there though, but I haven’t fully reconnected with any old pals of mine.
A few times, I think only one ever recognized me though. Did some facebook snooping not too long ago and it's bittersweet nostalgia since I never had means of contact until the last couple years of school, so seeing old faces and memories was cool but somewhat depressing knowing I'll never talk to them again.
Oof I got another story. Since I go to community college (basically a lower level uni that's popular than unis for all non-americans) I was able to meet like 3-4 elementary friends. Kinda ironic, but I met them in the cafe, because that's where a lot of people tend to meet up.
