So since they added this 1.13 protocol where players can join in 1.13 alot of players have been complaining of getting kicked for "spamming" after 1 message, broken textures, textures being switched and a lot of other stuff. So I suggest removing it until these bugs will get fixed, tho it might be a little problem since some of the people dont know how to switch to 1.12.2 or so.

 

Support this seems it will fix many problems players have I personally had this problem on another server and I think it would be good to remove it

 

Support. 1.13 has been been VERY problematic according to multiple players. I don't really care because minecraft doesn't have an effect on me, but it would be GREAT not to have this. Apparently screens are turning purple?
I have no idea.

 

1.13 is so buggy that I could barely get it to work. On Mac, You need to scroll like 5 times to switch hot bar slots, and that just doesn’t work for me. Not to mention, the GUI interface is small as heck.

Stretching the server from 1.8 - 1.13 is not the best idea, And the only reason the chat bug is caused is because of ViaVersion, the only reason this is possible. It’s literally like trying to explain that you can’t pause an online game to your parents. It’s plain and simple: not recommended.

Update the server as you wish, but don’t ever add 1.13 items and features. It will cause so many problems, the server will barely be able to even run.

I suggest downgrading ViaVersion to restrict versions to 1.8 - 1.12.2.

Many plugins are not working properly (They work, but are creating errors).

To fix all these bug reports and suggestions, this is my recommendation:

- Downgrade ViaVersion

Support, problematic. It is laggy even on beast PCs.
Maybe when 1.13.1 or 1.13.2 comes out and solves some of these lag issues can we consider support for 1.13.x.
It's actually ViaRewind/ViaBackwards that allows 1.8-1.11 users join on 1.12 servers. ViaVersion is there so that 1.12.x+ clients can join 1.12.x servers.

 

I talked with Crew he said the plugin is currently really buggy and that he is waiting for the developer to soon update it.

 

I dont play 1.13 but for those who are a fan of it and want to play skyblock but cant due to the restriction, it would be great to do so. I saw a post somewhere about noobcrew partially implementing 1.13.

 

I'd just say *Cough* If it's an issue don't use it yet

I like Krissy's idea, it's sad just to cut off an entire version when people could at least be informed as to what's going on so they can prevent that.

 

God my scrolling didn’t work on Mac either so I mean I switched my mouse to my mouse to another one but still no luck, I had to use the number keys to switch.

As for removing access, i think it may just be the best option. There is so much confusion surrounding it, especially with players that have like only just joined. Typing messages kicks you out and some people can’t just not chat. My fences were also hella messed up like when you have that wooden bit inbetween the two posts, that wooden bit only went half way to the other post.

I just don’t think it’s worth keeping up whilst it’s not working properly. All you need is a message in the server list saying what is supported so people will know they just need to downgrade. So support yeah haha
