I keep taking losses while AFK in a SAFE setting. Anyone have a server that doesn't force you 2 eat glass for nothing?
If I go afk overnight with anything valuable in hand I will log into the death screen items lost. Using back brings me to death location with nothing out of the ordinary or wrong. Is it possible 2 do server wide search for a named item?
So if you go afk with nothing valuable in ur hand u wake up to u being alive instead of a death screen ?
Can you tell where you died? Was it at the same spot you were standing, or does it look like someone pushed you into the void? On the old server I remember starving to death if I afk for too long (but this was many years ago, before I had /god). If you seem to be dying at the same spot you're afking in, you might want to try putting a few hoppers under your feet so if you die the hoppers collect your items for you.
After all the malicious activity observed recently I can only assume someone has figured out how 2 kill me while standing idle in order 2 farm the items in hand.
I was standing 2 blocks from a safe floor ontop of an enderchest for that EXACT reason. U can see the spot in my shop. Using /back put me right back ontop of the enderchest not the void.
Did you make sure your island was locked? If you lock it, only people you allow will be able to visit!
I want to guess either (Sorry I don't play new server so I may be wrong) But you are either A. Starving. B. A mod will have to see if someone placed blocks of some sort (Old bucket glitch) C. Pushed into a void since I am pretty sure the new update has the ability to push and that's just a troll thing. My recommendation is just put stuff up before going afk? I mean if it keeps happening that's the only thing I can think.
B and C have been patched. So really there is a few things: Assuming you have no /god so you have the ability to die you are being killed by starvation or mob damage. In this case check if mob spawning is on and don't afk for long periods of time. Log out or don't keep valuables in your inventory. This server is survival and that is why whatever you do you cannot start to afk randomly and for long. Take care of your character and belongings.
