Hello Tiger, thank you for taking the time to appeal.

You have been banned for island farming 1,017 dirt, using two of your alternate accounts. In your appeal, you state that you were banned for 'doing something I didn't know'. If you did not know that you were island farming, could you please explain what you were doing? Hundreds of dirt blocks were broken on both of your alternate accounts, and hardly any dirt was placed.

Could you please explain how you did not know about what you were doing? You have been on the server for quite a while, and I find it very hard to believe that you had no idea what you were doing. You obviously knew that restarting your island would give you more materials, and you continued to do it, until you had over 1,000 dirt. What made you think that this was okay? You were also messaging another player, asking them to 'take the dirt', which leads me to believe you were trying to get rid of the dirt, after you island farmed it. Either way, you broke the rules, as dirt trading is strictly prohibited. I have a very hard time believing that you did not know dirt trade was illegal either.

ok what i was doing was not thinking and trying to get dirt for futur things i couldent see how it was bad when i was doing it i . ryed to through away the dirt blocks but i faid... i tryed... tho im sorry for farming dirt i thought MASSIVE amounts faming dirt was bannable.... and i had 4 stack of dird and 4 lava buckets... and 12 string from it.. so did i awnser ur question? -tiger

 

Are you saying that you only farmed four stacks of dirt, and nothing more than that?

You farmed nowhere near 5 stacks of dirt. You island farmed 15 stacks and 57, or 1,017 block of dirt. So far, we have only been able to locate, and remove, 6 stacks and 22 dirt blocks, or 406 blocks. What did you do with the rest of the dirt? It could not be found on your island, or the islands of any of your alternate accounts. You must still account for 611 blocks of dirt.

 

611? i died with them.... XD idk how i fell in lava befor i knew the/lng thing..... but sorry for my farming pleas forgive me...

 

Thank you for that information. Unfortunately, I will have to deny this appeal. I have a very hard time believing that you did not know what you were doing, and I feel that a 7 day ban is perfectly reasonable, given your actions. I understand that you may be sorry about what you have done, however that does not justify your actions. I hope that you will learn from this experience, and refrain from island farming in the future. I look forward to seeing you back on the server. I strongly encourage reading the rules, which can be found here, to ensure that you do not break any of them in the future.
