Since Theo said the [person name] would be punished, and I made a scam report, shouldn't he/she be banned? The rules : "Scamming: 3- 7 day ban, 8 - 31 day ban" Theo: "The tradeshops will be removed and the player will be punished. Thank you." Doesn't look like he/she made an appeal either.. EDIT - " Write down the username of the player you're trading with and exactly what you're trading. This will make it easier for a mod to refund you, and make it easier to remember." Which makes things worse because it contradicts another rule " Scamming: Do not scam any user of Skyblock out of their items, rank, or money. Skyblock staff do not refund items that you may be scammed of, so trade at your own risk. (If reporting a scam, please be sure that we can clearly see exactly what you are trading for and both players agreeing to the trade in video evidence.)" And if I actually spent 150 grass and it's getting stuck in this perpetual loophole, and the scammer doesn't get banned even though it's in the rules, what will happen next?
What it means is if you are scammed and there is sufficient proof a mod can return your items (not refund). The scammer will likely be banned according the the rules. If there is no proof then the mod is not obligated to refund you. Some people don’t appeal and we can only see accepted appeals. Idk what exactly your situation would be. But I’m sure it will get sorted
Hi, players cannot see appeals unless it’s their own one. Therefore unless it’s accepted then you may not know whether their appeal is ongoing. I can assure you that the situation has been handled perfectly by the staff member.
The part about no refunds is not entirely true. I've been scammed dozens of times, but thanks to Windows 10 recording, staff have been able to return my items every single time.
Out of our own pocket, we're not obligated to refund. If we can find the items that were scammed with clear proof from the victim, there's a chance that we will be able to retrieve them.
