Hi, I'm aBigBagofChips otherwise known as Chips. (childish name yes, this account was made in 2012). I've been playing skyblock.net since 2014. I used to be known for my banner shop on classic, and now am starting some other projects on skyblock!

Yes, I use lightshot, a screenshot program that can actually create public links to quickly view screeenshots. Also I use the Camtasia Screen Recorder.

Why do you think you should become a mod?

• I'm very active. I'm on skyblock 6/7 days of the week. I have a work/school schedule that allows this.
• I'm unique. A lot of staff members I've seen in the past have been overly serious, or the other way around, too soft. I'm the perfect combination. I can have fun, I have a sense good of humor, but I can also be serious if it comes down to it. I can also go from very professional and serious to a fun loving funny person.
• I have read the punishments for breaking certain rules, so I remembered them by heart.
• I actually have owned my own creative server, than a hub server, that averaged around 19 people on at a time, until I shut it down due to the stress of school at the time.
• I'm a very good multi-tasker. I can reply to multiple people at once, easily switch between minecraft and the forums, etc.
• I enjoy helping people. When people have a problem, I love to help them. So when those people ask those questions in chat, it'll only make my job of helping people that much easier and reliable.
• I've been playing since 2014, in my mind I own this server I know basically everything about it, I've never played any other server for this long.
• After seeing other staff come and go for the last 4 years, seeing how they dealt with problems, I've evaluated what I would do in that situation, or how I'd handle a report on the forums, etc.
• I'm always honest. If I'm wrong, I'll own up to it.
• I don’t give up.
  I don’t let things slide. I am persistent. When there is a problem I will address and evaluate the problem, and figure out the best solution.

What do I have to for the skyblock.net community?
An active, loyal, staff member, who has an urge to help people no matter what, who knows right from wrong, has a sense of humor, has common sense, and would never abuse no matter the scenario.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
7 hours at a time (at the least. typically around 9)


How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I started my skyblock.net grind back in 2014


Have you ever been banned in the past?
No bans on forums, but I'm not 100%


Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes! As stated earlier in the thread, I've owned a server that averaged 19 people on at on time! (Shut down due to school stress back then)


Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes, taking my old forum profile into account.

I love everything about skyblock.net. I love the community, the people, the economy, the staff, the website, the forums, the discussions, the way I'm laughing at 2am to just reading the chat, and I even love the block breaking delays that happen sometimes. Thanks for reading~

Forgot to add my discord in there. I'll add it in there now. I do however meet 50 post count and 2FA as it is enabled. And my old forum account (still me) has well voer 2 weeks and over 50 posts.

 

What happened to your old forums account? Wouldn't you still be using it?

 

I had it connected to an email I no longer have access to.

 

You can still login under that email though.

 

I also forgot the password! I actually again just tried like 6 different passwords... so with no way to recover or password I guess I'm out of luck. For proof it's MY account, the username is my in game username. aka aBigBagofChips
