Hey Cool Feature, I made many independence day pickaxes but I have problems with the green book! I use that so much but I cant now, Leeeroieee can you please try to fix that? Thanks in advantage

Enchant it with silk on a enchant table and it does not make the name look weird

 

This happens if you use an anvil on an item that has a colored name. Anvils always give renamed items cyan italic names. If the name already had colors, the anvil strips out the Minecraft color code symbol (§) from the name, leaving the letter codes behind.

As Creepingdeath9 mentioned, the only way to get the silk touch enchant on the Independence Pickaxe without losing the original colored name is to use an enchanting table. It can take many attempts and a good bit of luck, but it is possible:

I was wondering that too- not sure why it wouldn't be legal since mycelium is legal to trade and it is pretty much the same as podzol, just looks different. + they can both be dug to get dirt..
