One of my friends accidentally joined a coop yesterday and I wanted to help her out because she didn't realize that joining a coop got rid of all of her things. She would like her stuff back and I told her I didn't know if anything could be done about that. She doesn't have a forums account, but her ign is Catpurrccino and you could reply to me on here or her in game if there is anything that can be done. Thanks, BlackknightJC
If her old island still exists (if she had other coop members on it), we would be able to go back and get them. If she was playing alone before joining a coop, then the island and items have probably been deleted. We cannot retrieve items deleted when islands are deleted, or items deleted from inventory when a player joins a coop
As a further point, did she have anything in her enderchest? Anything placed there will not be reset when moving between coops, and so some items might still be present.
Yes thats correct when you join a coop you loose all of your gear and also your island with it. If an ender chest was in use for her all of those items will stay in the enderchest until you get another placed then you can collect only the items in a n enderchest. Since the island was deleted the items and the island it self are now deleted unless a staff can help out more.
Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to retrieve the lost island. Does your friend recall some of the basic things she had? I might be able to find a few things in my stores for her.
Yeah I lost all my stuff too when I joined a coop. I didn't know that it would get rid of all my stuff and island.. I'm sad because I had a spawner in there as well. I had worked hard on that island and now it as just *puff* deleted. Is there anything the staff can do?
Did you have a coop on your old island? If so, your island should still exist. If not, I’m sorry to say this but everything has gone and we aren’t able to get it back.
I... am not sure if I had one... I mean I first played on the server w/ my friend about 3 or 4 months ago. There is a possibility that I made a coop on my island. Is there a way to check?
Well did your friend also live on your island? When you /visited them did it take them to your island or a different island?
Hmm.. I never tried visiting them. I should check that. I'm gonna go test if it does bring it to my island now.
Actually, now that I trie, it did bring me to my old island. How can I make it so that it's my home island again?
