    1. Server name (.net / .org ): .Net
    2. In-game name: Mommykazoo
    3. Full exact Ban Message: Island farming and dirt trading
    4. Did you read the rules ?: At one point in time, yes. I've been playing on this server for many years, and after taking a break for a while yesterday was my first day back, and I did not re-read the rules.
    5. Why do YOU think you were banned? Because I broke a rule.
    6. Was this an incorrect ban? No
    7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? No, I have never been banned OR have received any warnings on skyblock.
    8. Why do you think you should be unbanned?: I honestly just forgot about the rule. My friend was streaming (with Theoooo watching the stream) and just weren't thinking. He created his own island, and took the stuff from it and brought it to my island to build a house. Whilst this was happening, Theooo, the staff member watching the stream, never reminded us we were doing anything wrong, we just thought we were having fun streaming and playing Minecraft. I didn't have bad intentions, and I didn't sell/trade the gained materials to any other player including my island members. All of the dirt I gained from the island was used to create a little sky island on my plot built by myself. I believe I should be unbanned because although I broke the rules, I never received a warning. Also, I am a long time player on this server and am respectable enough to not make the same mistake twice.

    James For your consideration.
(It just says I banned you since mods have to ban for helpers. It's James's ban.)

    Hi, MommyKazoo.
I spoke to you before you were banned from the server, when I first asked you about the situation, it seemed like it was the first time you heard it. However, this was blatantly a lie because I had the evidence open in another tab. When I told you that I had evidence, you then immediately changed your mind and said "I didn't know that doing it on another person's island counted". Island farming is island farming, there's no need to go further in depth. In the stream, I also heard you guys were trying to drop the dirt to each other, and despite there being a message sent in chat that you both acknowledged you found a loophole, placed it into a chest and picked it right out of it again. You're an old player, as you claim, so surely you are supposed to remember that island farming isn't legal, especially since you have one of the highest donation ranks on the server. You also claimed that you returned yesterday and didn't read the rules. If you were unsure of the rules, surely you would read them? I understand you haven't received any warnings, but as an older player you should be more aware of the rules. The fact that you also mentioned that you "forgot about the rule" makes me wonder if I should allow you back on the server, you could simply just forget another rule and break it again while on this stream. Seen as you have been away for a while and returned yesterday, I would like you to go through the rules that can be found here and rewrite them on this thread in your own words and in detail, on top of this, please explain to me how you will prevent this from happening again.
    Thank you, ^J

Player disrespect: Treat other players the way you would want to be treated. Respect others no matter what.

Chat offenses: Abuse such as spam, flaming, swearing, bypassing chat filters, and harassment are not allowed. Punishments for these actions vary on the circumstance of the offense.

/Nick abuse: Identity theft (using /nick to disguise yourself pretending to be another player). If you have permission and proof of permission, you may nickname yourself another players name.

Extreme chat related offenses: Slurs in categories such as racism, being homophobic, sexism, are not tolerated in the skyblock community. Threats such as death wishes/threats or discrimination are also not allowed and the punishment varies on the situation.

Advertising inappropriate links: Do not post links that are inappropriate such as porn, gore, etc, and also do not post links or advertise other servers or anything that could draw user traffic away from skyblock.net.

Posting malicious links: this rule includes the previous one, but furthermore do not msg people links that have malicious intent such as phishing, IP grabbers, or keyloggers.

DDoS or hacking threats: Threatening to DDoS or hack another player's account is not tolerated.

Releasing Private information and Doxing: Do not attempt to obtain private information from anybody on the server. Examples include but are not limited to Phone numbers, Skype usernames, passwords, IRL photos, addresses, IP addresses, etc.

Ban/mute evading: Ban or mute evading is finding loopholes to get around your ban or mute such as joining on another account. If given a ban or mute, it is for a reason and you should carry out the punishment like everyone else.

Scamming: Scamming is taking items from other players who may be trading you and expecting something in return, which they do not get. Scamming will lead to a ban.

Griefing: Griefing is destroying other people’s items or buildings without their consent to do so. Griefing is disrespectful and doing so will result in a varied time sentence whereas multiple grieving accounts will lead to a 31-day ban. Griefing can be avoided by only trusting those who you really know to your island.

Island farming: Island farming is creating new islands and collecting its resources (mainly dirt) to add to a different island. Creating more the first that is given is illegal and considered cheating. This will lead to a ban and possible confiscation of all items.

Inappropriate names and/or skins: Having an inappropriate or provocative name or skin is against the rules. Young players play on the server and no-one wants a ruined day.

I will prevent myself from breaking the rules again by thinking before doing. I already have helped myself by reading, understanding, and rewriting the server rules. I do believe that my ban was warranted, and I take full responsibility for my actions. I enjoy the skyblock community and love to help people on it such as answering questions in chat. I respect this community, and will not break any of the rules again.

    Hi again, MommyKazoo.
I have spoken to a staff member and we have come to an agreement that this hasn't been written in your own words. Many of the phrases are the very similar if not exactly the same. I clearly stated in my previous post that "rewrite them on this thread in your own words and in detail", some of them aren't in any detail at all and are just pretty much what the original thread states. You now tell me that you will think before you act, however, this is clearly not evident in this appeal because the rewriting the rules seems to have proved difficult. You also say that you read, understood and rewrote the rules, but I'm not very convinced this is true.
    Thank you, ^J

I rewrote the rules using examples given so they are accurate. None of them are word for word exactly the same like you said, and they are similar because I wanted to keep them accurate. I’ll do it again though
