This is my first time playing Skyblock, so it's a learning process. I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion to make a mob farm out of the single Nether fortress tower. I believe the rules for Skyblock are slightly different for Survival? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Well we would but the problem is the nether resets every 1-2 months so it would be a waste of materials to keep building a mob farm in the nether every 1-2 months
You could, but that would make blaze rods, ghast tears, gold nuggets, and other nether items, hard to obtain, easy to aquire and damage the economy.
Drops in prices don't automatically damage the economy. Many times, they even stimulate it into evolving. Also, gold nuggets are really easy to obtain. That's why the price of gold ingots went from 1 ingot per grass in February to 7 ingots per grass now
I see, but the point is that if theres too much in circulation the price of it will go down because its such a commom thing. Yes, but in some ways, it does stimulate the economy. You sure about obtaining gold nuggets easily? Last time I tried obtaining them I had to kill around 100 pigmen to get at least 5
You're doing it wrong then. My grinder is a relatively modest one, and gives me between 3 and 7 DC'S a day. That's three or four stacks blocks right there
You can basically obtain what you can get in the nether, on your skyblock except blaze spawners. Nether resets so don’t build too much down there. Im not sure if this is the right forums you are looking for though. The spawn rates in the nether aren’t worth it. I’d just buy the stuff from /warp grass and smack blazes. With 7 pig man spawners I used to get a dc of nuggets per day. It didn’t give me a lot of blocks. I’m sure it’s just having more spawners. I’d say 20-30 gives you the best results. I had around 32 on org when I was mob farming and it gave me great results however I’m not even sure all were being utilised.
