Oh, hey. After all of my time here, I've yet to write one of these up. I don't even know where to begin... First of all, for those of you who don't know me, and seeing how much the community has changed, that would make a good few of you, I'm known by many names, I guess. Back in the day, I was known by "Robby", though it was simply another one of those internet misnomers that has nothing to do with you, or any of your interests. I started playing in late 2012 to early 2013 (around v1.3 to 1.5), thinking nothing of it. It was a past time for me, but I quickly found another game that ate up my time called Fantasy Online. I went on a hiatus, leaving my island dormant until around early 2014 when my beloved game had shut down. Left with an entertainment vacuum, I returned here to find my island intact. And so I started making friends again and having fun. People were supposedly astounded by a "placed hopper" on my island. And before I knew it, by the middle of 2014, my moderator application was accepted and I became a trial moderator. This was obviously surprising to me, as I was nowhere near as popular as many of the other applicants, but I was still promoted nonetheless. Over the summer, I helped as much as I could, though by the time school started, I found myself lacking time to do my duties. My demotion/resignation is a bit complicated, but I guess you could call it an "intentional demotion" without going into much detail. I stuck around for a little while longer, but once again, for the lack of better words, I didn't have the time to play anymore; I took academics extremely seriously and couldn't afford to lose any more on games. I lost interest in Skyblock and Minecraft shortly after. Jumping into 2018, I saw that there was a "new" Skyblock and so I decided to give it another go. At this point, I was just way too distant from the game to really get back into. Still, seeing a server that I used to religiously play at one point in my life was nostalgic to say the least, though the euphoria would only last a couple of days before I ultimately left once again. As of now, I sort of roam the forums every once in a while and partake in any conversations that I might have any ability to do so. Again, this is an extremely brief summary of all that has happened over the past five and a half years, but nevertheless, a long overdue one. Tl;dr: Started a long time ago, took a break, came back, became trial-mod, stopped being trial-mod, left, tried to come back, failed, wondering what to do with my life.
I've digged a little and I've found out you are robbybigc or something. I remember that name. I believe I saw you on org in 2015 or 2016. Though nice to know more about you
You were demoted about a month before my promotion so I never modded with you, but I've definitely heard your name and seen you around. Nice to see you hanging out on Skyblock again
